This was a bitter/sweet stay. The room was mostly clean, although I did find some hair in the tub and the room smelled musty. There were adequate towels and they did have a starter kit of shampoo, conditioner, soap and dish soap. Not sure why they had dish soap capsules under the sink because there was no dish soap. It would have been helpful to have some washer pods to do laundry. Be aware that there are old washer and dryer machines available on a few of the floors and they take $1.50 in quarters for washing and drying and there is NO where available at the resort to get change. Super frustrating to try to do laundry at 10 at night thinking it is a free washer and dryer.and then realizing that you have to drive somewhere to get change, but you are too afraid to drive somewhere because you will lose your parking spot. The parking lot that is advertised tonthe south is very limited and everywhere else is tow zones. Everything about this "resort" is run down, old, and many things are broken. The restaurant was closed, the pills were all closed, and even the fitness center was closed. So disappointing. When asking about these things I was told that many of these things were as a result of the hurricane they had three years ago. My guess is things needed repaired before the hurricane, but now it is really bad. The location of the resort is nice. Right on the beach and across from shopping. I was also curious as to why we could not park in the parking garage which would.have likely solved the parking problem. It nakes me a little nervous as to what kind of foundation those rooms are sitting on because they are right above the garage. Overall, I think the owner of the room tries to take good care of their room, but the resort is really old and run down. Also, the room was advertised under a cutie name, The White Turtle, rather than the location name of Daytona Beach Resort which made it super hard to find. The 2700 on the building was super hard to see at night and to not.have the right name of where we were staying made it almost impossible. The apartment manager was quick to respond if I did have questions.

The view was beautiful! The unit was very comfortable. The furniture and bed were great. The WiFi was great. The self check in / check out was so easy. The TV's were easy to operate.
