Overview

Buxton's closest ocean view home is only 40 feet from the dune line and the best fishing, surfing, and swimming on Hatteras Island! Relax and watch the dolphins play and waves break from the ocean and lighthouse view decks. The first level has a half bath and a bedroom with two singles. The entry room has a double futon, a TV, and a fridge. You'll also have great parking, a carport, and a basketball hoop. The first level has four bedrooms (two mains with private baths, TV, and access to oceanside decks), three baths, and a laundry. The fourth bedroom has a TV and oceanside deck access and the fifth has a TV. Upstairs is a large great room with wood accents, a cathedral ceiling, beautiful furnishings, and a two-story window with views of the ocean. A fully-equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar, a dining area, and a half bath handle all your needs. Oak spiral stairs lead to the fourth level loft with breathtaking views. The warm oceanside south-facing decks with covered porch and hot tub have ample room. Get caught up in the Fishin' Friendzy!

Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on the weather.

House dirty and things wrong and under an mandatory evacuation they offer no refund

We absolutely loved the house. It was very clean and had everything we could have wanted and more. My only complaint is the description and pictures should be updated. Yes, the house is literally steps from the beach because the dune line has been washed away. Pictures even show a wooden boardwalk over the dunes. Both are GONE. When it is high tide, the ocean comes to where the street ends. The house is amazing and the price was great, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time that at high tide there is no place to sit on the beach or even any beach at all to speak of. Also, the street floods terribly. Luckily we drive tall SUVs, had we been driving a low sedan, it might have been a bigger issue.

This is a lovely, spacious home just steps from the beach! Superbly outfitted for large families and enough pots and pans for an army! Rainy day? No worries - tons of books to choose from and games for all ages. You will want to rebook every year - the owner's TLC really shows!

We have stayed at Fishin' Friendzy numerous times and each time has been great. The place is always clean and very well stocked. You couldn't ask for any more accommodations. The ocean view and sunrises are wonderful. And with all the decks you can always find a perfect spot for for relaxing, reading a book, watching waves. or catching some sun. I would highly recommend Fishin' Friendzy to anyone and the fact the owner allows for a dog makes it all the more special.

Love the house - 5 bedrooms and close to ocean is great! Everything is great! The road to the house may be flooded / sanded during King Tides and / or northeaster. Keep close contact with Vacasa to make sure all is well.
