WVLE164 Rise n' Shine

Everything about this house is perfect! View is spectacular -lots of dolphins to watch off the upper deck. Hot tub was great. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of space for everyone. Has a great area for the dogs off the pool deck. We feel so lucky to have stayed in this house and know it would be wonderful for multigenerational family groups. THANKS for having us !

We thought the rise and shine was very nice. When it says beside a campground, they mean RIGHT beside a campground, but we didn't have any issue with that at all. They had a great assortment of kitchen stuff, pots, pans, grater, etc. Really everything you would need. The kitchen sink is really big and deep but you have trouble getting the water out because the lip on the drain is higher than the sink. I assume so guest won't clog the sink, which is understandable. Warning if you take dogs, they have lots of sand spurs (which is no fault of theirs) In the pool yard there is a small grassy area but it was full of spurs that would get in our dogs feet. Lucky for us, we had brought a metal pet gate that we used to block off that area. There's a sandy area under the deck that our dogs used with no problem. All in all, we thought it was a lovely house and had a wonderful time!

The house itself was beautiful, we had a pleasant time, the only downside was the house not being cleaned. We had to sweep and wash the dishes, other than that we had a really good time.

This house was absolutely perfect and what we needed, when looking for a place to serve our 14 person crew! We especially loved the fact that each bedroom has its own attached bathroom, plus the extra half bathroom on the top floor! Another fun thing we found upon arriving was that the whole place felt bigger and more spacious than the photos showed, which usually the opposite is true, so that was nice! We had lower expectations for the pool, as it’s not heated, but were pleasantly surprised that it didn’t feel too cold most days (especially on the warmer 70-75° days) and the teenagers/kids did not mind it at all! Be prepared for the walk onto the beach itself, as there are little spiky burrs along the path! I would definitely recommend leaving your sandals on until you get over the dune to avoid stepping on them (obviously, this is no fault of Vacasa or the house… just the environment to be aware of!). Our trip was in early May, and the beach was not crowded at all, which we prefer! We would 100% recommend this house and keep it in mind for future stays at the OBX!

We loved being on the beach and watching the dolphin go by daily. Hoping someone fixes the multiple issues that previous tenants have noted as they still aren't taken care of as well as a few others. Kitchen is well stocked and a brand new outside grill was delivered during our stay. Plenty of room to spread out and relax.

Despite my disappointment we still had a great family vacation, the views of the sunrise were amazing.
