This bottom-floor, Cottage Avenue Duplex condo, has two bedrooms and is an easy walk to the beach and ocean. A semi-oceanfront home, the condo features a kitchen and a bath for those who want to come to the beach to enjoy all that it has to offer. You'll be close to all the Buxton Highway 12 shops and restaurants, plus Fessenden Center Skate Park for the kids. A great way for you, your friends, and your extended family to have your own space is by renting Cape Top, in the same building, but as a separate unit with its own entrance.

Things to know:

You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on the weather.

This place is a great location in Buxton… just steps to the beach. You can walk to a few restaurants and shops. It is a nice size for a family of 4. The beds are decent for a beach rental. Some minor updates would go a long way at the house. No hose by the steps means a lot of sand coming up the steps. No ceiling fans. Noisy appliances. The bathroom window slams shut- so be careful. You’ll need to open it because there isn’t a bathroom fan. The outside shower does not have a door which is an interesting choice for a duplex. There is a washer/dryer to share with the other unit. The house was clean. Check-in was easy with the key code. No basic necessities like salt/pepper, coffee filters, foil. Sheets and shower towels provided. Bring extra pillows and blankets. Keep your expectations realistic, spend your time on the beach and exploring the local towns, and this is the place for you!

This home is beautiful with breathtaking views!! Located in an underdeveloped part of the outer banks, it’s perfect for a slow peaceful get away. Locals are nice but demand you respect the area!! Perfect for our family of 4

Nice view from upper deck, good cleanliness for pet friendly unit, easy check in. Security concerns with renters of other unit being given code access to our unit in error, and lack of follow through in making sure that error was corrected in their records to prevent additional inconvenience to us (locked out before our checkout out day.) It was easy to get a rep from the management company on the phone for assistance and they were helpful and polite.

The house was older and seemed “pieced” together, but very clean and the staff is quick to help with any issues. We would come back. Love how it is just steps from the ocean!

This was a nice little place to stay. Decent ocean views. Nice cozy porch. Beds were comfy. Lighting was good except no lights in the living room. Quiet neighborhood. We went off season and it was great.
