Loved the location of this house! Direct access and views of the sound facing due west for perfect paddles and sunsets! AND a very easy 5 minute walk to a beautiful, crowd-free beach. The renovated house was clean, fresh and very comfortable for our 2 families.

Renovated house with cute beach furnishings. Wonderful location! Sound access and walk right across the road to the beach. Home could use better mattress or mattress pad. Need more comfy seating options for families. Great place!

The views of the Pamlico sound and ocean were beautiful! All of the decks and deck furniture were wonderful! This home has been given a lot of excellent TLC during its renovation. Very well done. Colors chosen both inside and outside are so pretty and the Syren and Ocean theme tastefully done. The kitchen cabinets and the counters are very pretty. The kitchen is well stocked for every kind of cooking. Dining for 8 with lovely views! We appreciated the loft with all the books, games and incredible views of the Ocean and Sound. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. And…2 outdoor showers and an outdoor bathroom? WOW! That’s really nice! We didn’t use the hot tub…but it’s there for your enjoyment and views from second floor deck are equally lovely. Laundry facilities are new and sparkling clean. Washer was a bit touchy. Didn’t drain and spin one small load. I unplugged it and plugged it back in next morning…then it decided to work. Guess it just needed resetting. The top floor gathering space is very lofty and has beautiful views but it really does need a small sectional and comfortable chair. As it is currently furnished, it is not enough furniture for a family gathering. A king bed in upstairs master would be a huge improvement and would attract more renters. As in many rentals… queen beds could be improved upon. Bring a mattress pad. We had an incredible weather week. We took our truck to the beach but you can walk over to the neighborhood beach easily. This is a really lovely home in a great location! We would rent again if it was just us but had to find a place that would better accommodate a gathering of 8 plus 2 children for next year.
