Access to the beach and closeness to Surf City . If the house had major repairs snd fresh paint it would be much better .

We stayed for a week and it was okay. The views aren’t as great as you would think being close to the beach. There are a bunch of power lines obstructing the view but regardless happy to see the water even from the top deck. The bonus was the quick walk to the beach. We had issues right when we arrived. I had asked prior to coming if we had access to washer/dryer since we wanted to pack light and of course the day we arrive the dryer breaks. Like completely unusable so that wasn’t fun. Vacasa staff made it seem like this would be a quick fix yet we waited around all day Saturday and didn’t hear anything until Sunday morning that there are no techs available until at least Monday. Such a headache! So we actually had to wait until Tuesday for someone to come out and look at it. When you’re on vaca this is the last thing you want to have happen. The dryer was completely broke so had to have Lowe’s come out Thursday to replace the dryer. I was told by 2 different staff members that we would get an inconvenience refund but have yet to hear back or receive one. Other than that, the cleaning was okay, very dirty showers and walls. The beds are horrendous, not at all comfy and make sure you bring your own hand soap, laundry/dishwasher pods and garbage bags. They lie and say they have everything for you but one dishwasher pod isn’t enough for the week nor is the single laundry pod they left.

The house accommodated us all nicely and was close to beach and access. Garage doors are hard to open and close with no handles, traffic is noisy, kitchen is well stocked with plates and everything needed to eat and cook, gas grill worked. Could be cleaner lots of dust and bunnies. No cable tv other than in the living room. Overall, barring our medical emergency, which the local first responders were quick and knowledgeable, we had a good stay and would love to return. Thanks!!

The house was nice and clean, but the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. The house is 3 houses down from public beach access so that was nice but there’s no crosswalks so be careful. The use of the garage was nice also. There were some beach chairs and a beach buggy to use, along with some sand toys. The kitchen had a variety of pots and pans, cookie sheets, cutting boards, pitchers, wine opener, bowls, and sharp knives. Don’t forget to bring dishwashing liquid and dishwasher detergent. They had a few pods of dishwasher and laundry detergent to get you started! The mattresses were terrible. We could not get 2 of the TVs downstairs to work, just static on the screen, maybe it was us. The bathrooms came with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner to use, which I had no idea until I was there and read a very small sticker on the bathroom mirror. They had a few rolls of toilet paper which was nice. The view the ocean was wonderful.

Loved the ocean views and the short walk to the beach.
