Loved the location. Great cozy spot to enjoy the canal.
Until something is done about the unhealthy, moldy conditions of this property, I strongly recommend not renting this unit. I suspect it has been flooded multiple times without much repair or recovery. I felt sick most of the stay with headaches, congestion, and nausea, and there is visible mold in the place, with an extremely musty smell. It was also dirty and we saw a cockroach and multiple spiders.
It was good setup. The little things just need more attention. Lighting outside didn’t work to sit out, you only got the downstairs area, wasn’t the most clean when we arrived but nothing major, musky at times and they had to run a dehumidifier the whole time, loud ac unit in the bed room, and the yard was pretty overgrown until day 6. The good is that the location is great, right on the water, perfect for just 2-4 people. If they get the little things squared away it’ll be a good property.
House was smaller and older, but perfect for a low key beach vacation getaway. Loved the dock and paddle boards. We fished every morning and night. Very close to the beach and other activities. Quiet neighborhood and family friendly. Beds weren't too comfortable but served the purpose for vacation.
This is a small 2bd apt. The owner lives upstairs with her dog. Apartment was dirty upon arrival, most uncomfortable beds, could not use the outdoors at night duento lack of lighting...so much more. Save your money.
