Eagles' Nest is steps from the beach and not far from the local beach market, a big plus. We really enjoyed the large, well-stocked kitchen, full-size laundry, and the spa-like, ensuite shower in the Master. Also appreciated that there were plenty of bath towels and cleaning supplies in the house. Since there are partial ocean views, we were disappointed that there were no chairs on the upper deck porch facing the ocean. Also, at check-in, we had only 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms and had to replace lightbulbs in bathroom. Wish there was a window covering in the Master bathroom as well; otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming Vacasa home in Oak Island! The location was perfect — close to Southport and just a quick hop over to Bald Head Island, which we were able to explore as well. Our weekend was full of fun activities, but one of the highlights was simply relaxing in the cozy living room, catching up with family and sharing laughs. The view of the beach from the house was wonderful. We were lucky enough to catch both sunrises and sunsets, and they were unforgettable. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-located getaway with beautiful views and space to reconnect, this place is it.
