Great location and unit for a month stay on Treasure Island and the unit is was well equipped and comfortable. Unfortunately, we did not receive proper codes for building entry at checkin, only one FOB was provided for building entry and exit and the local management team failed to follow through on any communication or promises to provide additional FOBs.
The location is great! Beautiful views and centrally located on the boardwalk. Close to everything and incredibly walkable. Now, onto the rest. First, this is a complex that does not love seasonal renters. A number of owners (not all) certainly make that known to you. Definitely not a place that I’d recommend for those with kids looking to play in the pool for sure. The unit itself is quite dated and worn. We’ve stayed in this unit twice now, hoping that during the “off season” they’d invest in some upgrades, but not a thing changed. Bedding and towels are old and quite mismatched, and the kitchen dishes, silverware, utensils, are much of the same. Since this unit is a min 30 day rental, I’d expect a few more items such as storage containers for food (Rubbermaid, ziplocks, etc.) The unit needs a deep cleaning, but understand that with 6 hours between rentals, that doesn’t happen. Again, I’d hope that it would be built into the rental schedule more frequently, if at all. There also is a plumbing issue that may be a building issue as you can’t use both showers at the same time as one has scalding hot water that can’t be adjusted down when the other is running. Other things are just things that should be addressed in a rental. Dressers in the bedrooms (very limited area for clothing to be put away), replacing pillows and bedding, washing/replacing shower liners (yucky mold!) putting a mirror above the primary bath vanity so that you can see when shaving, washing your face, brushing your teeth, etc., adding a recycling container, setting up the TV that’s in the second bedroom closet—basic things for a rental of this $$$. I rarely leave negative reviews for anything, but have come to realize that if I don’t, the owners will never understand the need to reinvest and upkeep their properties. This could be a beautiful stay, but right now, I think it’s less than stellar. But again, location is great if you can look beyond the rest.
The beautiful updated condo had so many amenities and views of the gulf from the 10th floor deck for sunsets was amazing!
This property was in a fantastic location. The view was spectacular and the condo was very comfortable.
I loved the location close to Treasure Island restaurants and the view of the beach and nightly sunsets was spectacular!
The condo and location are awesome. But the view is worth the money.
