You'll be mere minutes from all sorts of island activities, including fishing, surfing, biking, and kayaking, and three miles east of the Folly Beach Pier and the many shops and restaurants that line Center Street. Downtown Charleston is 14 miles north, where you can explore fascinating history and dine at some of the most acclaimed restaurants in America. Our family loved our stay at Belle Mare. It was a great rental with plenty of space and comfortable furniture. It was great to have 3 bathrooms and an outside shower. 3 of the bedrooms are good sized with good sized beds, the 4th is smaller with a small double bed but it was perfect for our teenager to retreat to. The random daybed in the hall turned into a great place to perch or lounge after a hot day on the beach where you could see the marsh views, but remain in the air conditioning where the rest of the family was. We loved the family room set up with 2 couches and 2 chairs so we could play games together and the table was large enough for family and friends to join us. It was a short walk to the beach and it was nice to sit on the front porch and see the ocean. We also loved the marsh views in back and enjoyed watching the sunset from the back decks. It was a great property and we would love to return!

The location is great with a beach view from the front deck. We appreciated the ramp, the decks, and outside area to store beach gear and shower. The inside was very spacious. The decor was bright and beachy. There were plenty kitchen accessories, dishes, and pots and pans. The beach access was close by and was handicap accessible if needed. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips.

Stayed at Belle Mare for my wedding on Folly Beach, the house was perfect. It was beautiful, clean and spacious. We will definitely stay again.
