We had an excellent stay...place was clean..everything was great. Thank you.
As soon as we opened the door, we knew the space would be perfect for our vacation needs. Close to both IOP and Sullivan Island. Easy access to main roads and a very nice neighbor. Would book again.
Very quiet location with great access to the Mt. Pleasant and Charleston area. House decorations were good. Cleanliness was the biggest knock against the place and why the rating is just 3 stars. Major issue with duvet cleanliness in one bedroom (staff did address it the next day) and a yet still unaddressed, uncomfortable couch with stains highlighted in previous reviews. Not sure what it takes to get Vacasa/owner to remedy that issue.
Bedrooms were big, beds were comfortable. There were some issues with mold and the house itself was very loud. Easy drive to Charleston.
The goods: Nice location with plenty of things close by, 15 mins from the beach, 15 from downtown and a lot of restaurants in the area. Nicely decorated and the new appliances make the townhome seem nice and they provided a small kit with small soaps/shampoo/conditioner and dishwasher soaps. The bads: The outside of the townhome needs some work, everything out front needs attention with overgrown bushes and weeds and a tree growing on roof the front entryway. Definitely was not a good first impression when we arrived. The back patio is a very small mud hole even when it’s not raining. No where to hangout outside. The furniture inside was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever had to deal with. There were four adults staying on our trip and we had to use the metal kitchen chairs in the living room for daily use in the living room. The couch was small, very little padding with dirt stains. I definitely would not recommend anyone thinking they can use the couch as an extra bed. The internet was a joke and we had problems with all 4 of us watching TV and being on our phones at the same time. Upon our arrival, the upstairs bathroom had black mold or mildew growing on the walls. The downstairs bathroom had black flies coming from the sink. They provided a set of extras sheets but it would have been nice to have an extra blanket or two. Overall I was very disappointed and would not recommend this property.
The townhouse was as pictured, no surprises. It was clean, had updated appliances, and fixtures, and in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Would definitely use again.
