Ocean Village Club R26

We've stayed at Ocean Village Club in St. Augustine nearly every year, usually in summer, but this time we came in late November—our first winter visit. As always, we used VRBO, which we trust, and booked Freedom By The Sea II. It was listed under Vacasa initially, but shortly before arrival, the property was acquired by Casago. We were concerned when they asked for the second half of the payment through a third party, but Annette from Casago was quick to respond and reassuring. She made us feel confident we were in good hands. We'd traveled from New York and arrived several hours early — Casago accommodated us by allowing early access. Upon arrival, the condo was clean, well-maintained, and felt like home. We were pleased to see it was in excellent condition, even with the recent change in management. We also noticed a note about insurance coverage—something we hadn't realized was included. We were told we'd be covered for any damage that occurred during our stay if we reported it, and that gave us peace of mind. During our stay, Casago sent a text asking if we wanted them to send someone to fix the garbage disposal, which had been reported by the previous guest. It was working fine, so we said we'd wait. Their prompt communication and clear guidance made the experience worry-free. This trip was special for us, and Casago made it better by being responsive, understanding, and professional. While I've always relied on VRBO, I'll now consider Casago directly for future stays. I'm genuinely impressed.

This is our 2nd stay in R26 and we couldn't be happier! It is cozy and clean and feels like a home away from home! The elevator is super convenient when you've been driving for a long time and don't feel like carrying everything up the stairs to unpack. We also had my aging mother and father-in-law with us this time and they appreciated the elevator too. This is a condo I would highly recommend to my friends and family!

Great location overall. Great amenities at the facility as well.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and the amenities. We loved being able to walk right onto the beach. Everything was very close to our room. The room was very clean and definitely one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. We loved our stay there and we have plans on booking next year for reservations.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Short walk to pool and beach.

Very clean. Great location. Very affordable. Did I say clean!?? I didn’t feel I was sitting or sleeping in a gross hotel. I will definitely recommend this unit to my coworkers who travel often. Very quick response to help with getting into gate/room as we needed a little help. All went very well. Thank you for taking care of your space so we could have great memories.
