Vilano's Edge Unit A

I booked this home to take my daughter for her 30th birthday. The house was beautiful. 50 yards from the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Close to restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back

Location is fantastic house has everything you need for your stay

Villano Beach is a beautiful beach, location is perfect, view is wonderful. But please read on before renting!!! Carpets are stained and dated, dining chairs also stained. Worn and holes in living room chair. When we took off bed sheets, discovered stains on matters pad cover and stained pillows. Furniture worn, mattress terrible. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and never have seen this prior. Always rate a 5 but not here! The water comes from well water, which should be fine if functioning correctly. It clearly is NOT, smells worse than reclaimed water our entire stay. When sprinkler would come on, the smell got worse, leading us to believe there may be a backflow issue. Recommending local health department does a water quality test. Another major issue was lack of security between the downstairs unit and upstairs unit. Fortunately for us, our daughter and family were staying in that unit, and we discovered that the door between the 2 was not locked. They have furniture at the door leading people to believe it is a locked door. Also owner came during our stay, opened garage door and left it open. We were not informed of this until we inquired who was here and why an open garage door that leads to our units. Broken door knobs, and lack of extra towels. I could go on, but I think this tells all that there is lack of quality control. Unit needs a refresh! Furniture, kitchen, bathroom, and appliances. Dishwasher works terrible, thus sticky dishes. Very stingy on giving extra towels since they have a linen service. One should not have to do laundry to get an extra set of bath towels. 1 wash cloth in master bathroom…hmmmm! Would not recommend! Check around before committing to this unit!

Loved the house & location, just the bathrooms need updating.

Loved the view from the deck and that we could walk across the lawn to the beach. We were looking for a quiet place to relax and we found it.

Great value. Great location. Peaceful and right on beach. Great views. Definitely recommend .
