About

If you've been itching to spend some time out in nature, look no further than Bing's Landing. Bing's is an 8-acre Intracoastal Waterway park, home to a variety of family-friendly activities and rich history. Spend some time on the scenic walking trails lined with ancient oak trees or arrive bright and early to catch the sunrise on the beach.

The park was initially purchased by Brigadier General Joseph Hernandez in 1816 as part of the MalaCompra Plantation. Flagler County purchased Bing's Landing to be used as a public park in 1989. Their goal was to provide locals and visitors alike with an outdoor playground to enjoy and learn about the environment.

This expansive park is equipped with seating, grills, picnic areas, water access, a kids' play area, bathrooms, and more! You can spend a whole day here and still not experience everything Bing's Landing has to offer.

Some of the most popular activities at Bing's Landing include...

Boat/Canoe/Kayak Launch

Boat launching is a method involving a slipway (also known as a ramp) to move vessels in and out of the water. Have no fear, if you've never done this before, it is pretty simple. There are plenty of YouTube videos that explain how to take advantage of this park feature.

Picnic Pavilions

One of the best ways to spend some time in a park is on a picnic. Whether you set this up for your significant other or family, everyone will enjoy it. You'll find picnic tables strategically placed throughout the park in heavily shaded areas.

Fun Idea: Bring some paint supplies and make this day in the park worthwhile. If painting isn't your thing, how about a deck of cards or a coloring book? There are so many ways to slow down and enjoy quality time outdoors.

Walking Trails

What makes the nature in Palm Coast so special is the ancient trees. All over Palm Coast, you will find massive, majestic trees that can only thrive in humid Florida weather. The trails in Bing's Landing are suitable for all ages and activity levels.

Fishing

Hook, line, and sinker! Fishing is a very popular activity in Palm Coast. This water sport is arguably just as popular as golf. This location is a popular place for beginners to try their luck at catching fish. Conveniently, you can purchase basic fishing tools and bait at the restaurant inside the park.
