to enjoy!
Palm Coast beaches offer plentiful parking restrooms and showers.
Each beach is unique in it’s own way. Check out them all!

Marineland “Swim with Dolphins”
An oceanfront marine park known as the “world's first oceanarium” offering fun for the

Horseback riding on the beach
Equestrian Adventures of Florida hosts horseback rides right here on the beach in Palm
Coast. This is an amazing activity you won’t forget.

Mountain biking
The Mala Compra Trails offer over five miles of technical riding trails. The trails run
through the jungle with challenging climbs and quick descents around coquina quarries
and sulfur springs. This well maintained trail system runs through the original location of
animal land and also the set where original Tarzan movies were filmed.

Biking and Walking trails
There are over 125 miles of concrete trails in the area. Whether you're just up for a stroll
down a shaded trail, an easy bike ride or advanced cycling there are trails for you in Palm
Coast. Check out the waterfront park trail, Parking across from the European Village or at
the Waterfront Park.

Check out the parks
There is no shortage of parks to choses from in fact there are 33 in the Palm Coast /
Flagler area. Here are a few favorites.

Washington Oaks Park: This amazing park located off of A1A is home to over twenty acres
of formal gardens, towering mature oak trees and tropical flowers and plants. You will
not be disappointed.

Bings Landing Park: Beautiful wooded park on the intercoastal waterway with boat ramp
and famous Captains BBQ.

Princess Place Preserve: A picturesque 1500 acre preserve is home to Florida’s first
inground swimming pool! This great park offers hiking, fishing and paddling on Moody

Bulow Plantation Ruins: This amazing park is home to the ruins of the old Bulow sugar
plantation. A great place for bird watching, hiking, fishing and canoeing.


Palm Coast area has some of the most picturesque golf courses in the sunshine state to

Water Sports

From boating to fishing there are plenty of water sports activities to get you on the water
in Palm Coast and Flagler Beach.
Charter a sailboat.
Catch some waves: The local shops offer board rentals and lessons.
Paddling: There are plenty of ideal spots in the area to get on the water and paddle
board or kayak.
Fishing: There are so many great fishing spots. Rod rentals available at the Flagler Pier.
Rent a boat and cruise the intercoastal waterway.

Washington Oaks Park
This amazing park located off of A1A is home to over twenty acres of formal gardens, towering mature oak trees and tropical flowers and plants. You will not be disappointed.

Washington Oaks Beach
This is a beach like you've never seen before. Astounding shoreline of coquina rock formations, cinnamon colored sand littered with a variety of shells make this spot a must see!

Fort Matanzas
There is plenty of history in Palm Coast as well. Fort Matanzas built out of coquina rock in 1742 still standing strong today with cannons in view. The fort was constructed to defend St. Augustine from British attack. Tours available!

Matanzas Inlet
The name Matanzas meaning "slaughter" in Spanish comes from the attack of 1565 when 134 French troops were killed by Spanish Florida troops. This is a great spot for a walk, swim, fishing or paddling.

Captains BBQ
Award winning BBQ. This joint has been previously ranked #1 in Florida and #8 in the nation for barbecue. Right on the water of the intercoastal waterway experience true southern BBQ slow cooked in a wood burning smoker. Eat in the screened in porch or outside on a picnic table at Bings landing park. Great spot to catch a sunset!

Golden Lion
Voted a top 10 beach bar in Florida. Right on the coast in Flagler Beach with a laid back vibe, great selection of cocktails, tasty large portions on the menu and a raw bar. A roof top dining area with beautiful views, a tiki bar, a sand dance floor and live music on occasion.

Flagler Winery
Right across the street from the beach, enjoy a glass of wine or a famous wine slushy. Offering a variety of wines to choose from and help from the staff to make the perfect pairing for their small bites menu and charcuterie.

Tortugas Florida Kitchen & Bar
Just across from Flagler Beach. Multi level restaurant and bars offers up amazing food and cocktails with an awesome waterfront view. Voted a top 10 Florida beach bar, it's definitely a fun spot to take in the sights, and enjoy a great meal and drinks with family or friends.
