About

Venture to St. Johns Town Center, and you'll discover an oasis serving shareable plates and signature cocktails with a laid-back island vibe. Welcome to Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Store, one of Jacksonville's more popular restaurants.

The brand, known for its island lifestyle apparel, branched into the restaurant business in 1996 and Barbados-based rum in 2007. The Marlin Bar may not feature the full menu of the restaurants, but nonetheless, it serves delicious fare. You can also shop at the store in the same building.

With an open layout and seating that spills out onto the patios, the beach vibe is ideal for unwinding after a day with First Coast Divers.

The menu features island-inspired dishes and classic American favorites, so there's something for everyone. Whether you're craving fresh seafood, signature burgers, or street-style tacos, you will find them here, alongside hand-crafted cocktails.

Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Store embodies the spirit of the First Coast with fresh flavors, a welcoming atmosphere, and an island-like vibe. Add this one to your to-do list when exploring downtown Jacksonville.

Vibe

The exterior of Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Store features contemporary lines, open concept, and palm trees lining the perimeter. Resembling a tropical getaway, it blends with the architectural motif of the St. Johns Town Center.

The interior has an open trellis ceiling that lets in natural light, while earth-tone colors evoke a sandy beach. Light-colored dining tables dot the floor, and booths offer settings for intimate meals or groups of friends.

A shallow, rectangular pool is a striking feature in the center of the room. Its black tiled bottom features gold flakes and subtle lighting to create a modern yet beach-like feel.

When the weather suits, enjoy your meal on the covered patio, which offers unobstructed views of the shopping area. It's the perfect place to retreat with a cold beverage after an adventurous day at MOSH (Museum of Science and History).

Whether grabbing a quick lunch or dinner with friends, Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Store will enhance any Florida getaway.

Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Store: Menu & Drinks

The menu at Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Store is designed for sharing, with small plates and assorted handhelds. Such appeal has made it one of  Jacksonville's best restaurants.

Some popular shareables are the Street Corn Dip with jack and cotija cheese, chipotle aïoli, house-made chips, and the Crispy Chicken Wings. The latter comes with jerk rub or white peach heat and is served with cucumbers and herb buttermilk dressing.

One must-try item is the Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos. These handhelds feature seasoned fish, tomato relish, chipotle aïoli, island slaw, fresh lime, and sour cream. The combination of fresh ingredients, rich textures, and bold flavors make each bite a slice of paradise.

After burning calories at the Southbank Riverwalk, order a healthy, filling meal like the Ahi Poke Bowl. The tuna comes with sushi rice, furikake, sriracha aioli, island slaw, pickled cucumber and onion, sliced avocado, and edamame. Drizzled with a soy glaze, topped with crispy wontons, and served with a wakame salad, this bowl will make you feel like you're in Hawaii.

Nothing says dining in an island paradise like a margarita! One variation that gets high marks is the Guava Rita with El Tequileno Reposado, Cointreau, Guava-Serrano syrup, and fresh lime. Another island go-to is the Classic Mojito with Cruzan Citrus, fresh lime and mint, sugar cane syrup, and Fever Tree soda.

Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Store captures the heart and soul of island life, making it a dining spot worth exploring on your Jacksonville vacation.
