About

So, you're seeking an off-the-beaten-path attraction that offers ziplining, kayaking, snorkeling, and more. Garrafon Park, on the southern tip of Isla Mujeres, is this destination.

This family-friendly park offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. It features iconic cliffs, world-renowned coral reefs, turquoise waters, and a tropical landscape. Various packages are offered, most of which are all-inclusive.

Regarding the reef, the park is part of the Mesoamerican Reef, the second-largest in the world. You can witness this natural wonder by snorkeling, kayaking, ziplining, and SUP (stand-up paddleboard.)

History buffs will appreciate that Garrafon Park is near Punta Sur, where a Mayan temple dedicated to the Goddess Ixchel once stood. Such history adds depth to your getaway, blending ancient traditions with Isla Mujeres' allure.

If you plan to explore more of this five-mile-long island, check out Playa Norta. It is considered Mexico's most beautiful beach, with sugar-white sand, shallow waters, and an abundance of restaurants and bars.

Whether it's relaxing in the infinity pool, swimming with dolphins, or ziplining over turquoise water, Garrafon Park is a must on a Mexico vacation.

Garrafon Park: Fun Facts & Cool Features

What makes visiting this attraction appealing are the various packages and specials. While there are plenty of family-focused adventures, the resort offers adult-only packages. Such variety ensures something for everyone on a Cancun getaway. We can't explore each in detail, so we'll dive into some of the most popular.

The best bang for the buck is the VIP all-inclusive admission, which includes your ferry tickets and lasts around seven hours. You'll get unlimited access to snorkeling, ziplining, kayaks, and SUPs. Additionally, the Garrafon VIP Area offers a touch of exclusivity, luxury, and privacy. Here, you get an unforgettable experience with top-of-the-line facilities and high-quality amenities.

Also included is a Mayan sauna called a Temazcal. The steam bath is rooted in ancient traditions that promote healing, relaxation, and spirituality. You'll need to book your appointment upon arrival for this unique highlight.

For an even grander experience, consider one of the packages. These feature the perks and amenities in the admission cost above, plus the chance to interact with dolphins! You can select various packages Dolphin Discovery offers for an unforgettable marine adventure.

If you stay overnight, check out other exciting attractions on Isla Mujeres. Directly offshore from Garrafon Park is the MUSA Underwater Museum. Over 450 sculptures dot the ocean floor, serving as an artificial reef, making for an otherworldly scuba diving trip.

On the island's opposite end are top-notch restaurants and bars, one of which is Zama Beach Club. It's one of the island's best, with outdoor seating, ocean views, and fresh seafood.

Whether you are seeking adventure, tranquility, or cultural enrichment, Garrafon Park brings everything together in one spectacular location. Visiting will make for an unforgettable Cancun vacation.
