About
Serenity Bistro is an upscale destination perfect for a romantic dinner or a good meal. The wine, soup, and salad—all the way through to dessert are going to be good.
I enjoyed coming here with a friend recently, and we had excellent service. We were looking for a location for really good food, but she needed a menu that was a bit more specialized due to a gluten allergy. They accommodated here perfectly.
We didn’t wait too long to be seated, but we had reservations. We were greeted by a welcoming gentleman who sat us with a smile, and then right away, our waitress came to our table.
The place is very cute and well-lit, with just the right background music so you can hear the other party. I found that the dishes were large and filling, though this is not your big old steak dinner type of location. It is far more refined than that.
We browsed the menu and were able to choose a few options (it was hard to choose) that fit both of our likes. That way, we could take a few bites to share. Everything was served rather quickly, and it was hot. I could tell a lot of it was made in-house and fresh, just as they promised.
Our waitress was friendly and came back to us a few times for drinks and to check-in. We also talked to her a bit about the place, and she didn’t rush away.
It was a nice evening as a result of good service, and I highly recommend the Serenity Bistro!
Vibe
If you are looking for a place to wine and dine someone, even if it is just yourself, check out Serenity Bistro.
It is certainly a favorite restaurant for me because of the upscale vibe, but it is not overbearing in any way. The white tablecloth dining room means you’ll likely want to wear something a bit more upscale to dinner, but there were plenty of people enjoying the night in a casual style.
The menu is exceptional, and that really sets the tone for this charming spot.
Serenity Bistro: Menu & Drinks
For the menu, I’ll share what I enjoyed most recently. I have had other items here and haven’t been disappointed in the past.
For my main meal, I enjoyed the Panang Chicken. This is a big serving of freshly made pasta that is topped with an incredible sauce. The chicken was light and well-cooked to keep it nice and moist. I also enjoyed that I could ask for no mushrooms in my dish.
They had other options for my friend, including the Porterhouse Pork Chop. This was a huge meal and had an incredible root beer demi-glaze on it. It was served with mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables.
I decided that I had to give the dessert a try too, so I had the Vanilla Cheesecake. It was a nice serving of New York-style cheesecake that had a nice vanilla flavoring throughout it.
My friend did the opposite and went with the Chocola Lava Cake. That was a good choice, too, with the rich, warm sauce that was just pouring out of it!
Local Tips
- I highly recommend making a reservation for Serenity Bistro. It will otherwise be booked most times of the night.
- They have a full menu of good options to choose from, but they also have daily specials, which may be priced well but are always some of the best on the menu.
- They will customize just about anything for you, especially if you let them know it is due to an allergy or diet preference.
- Our entire meal was fantastic, and the chef, along with the rest of the staff, made sure to check on us and our satisfaction.
