About
Located in the heart of Burnet Main Street, Texas, on the Historic Courthouse Square, is the infamous Burnet Antique Mall. This huge mall offers a selection of items and things you wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else in Texas.
And while perusing the store, I began to understand why it was called a mall…it’s downright huge. This shop never seemed to end with antiques of all shapes and sizes, including books, jewelry, silverware, records, clothing, pictures, and so much more. I even stumbled upon the dreaded creepy porcelain doll and a super cute studded jacket.
Walking through every aisle of this incredible shop made me feel as though I was stepping back in time. Rich with Highland Lakes Texas history, I discovered the mall opened over 29 years ago and continues to operate with the most friendliest of staff.
Owned by Carol and John Will, they pride themselves on making sure every person that comes in is welcomed with a great big Texan howdy. The staff is not only kind and helpful but encourages you to take a walk around and ask questions. If they don’t know, they will find someone who does.
So if you’re looking for an incredible place to find that one-of-a-kind item while on your Texas vacation, I recommend stopping in for some cool finds. My experience there tells me that you won’t find anything else in Texas like it!
And don’t forget to make some time to check out the Historic Courthouse Square. You’ll learn all about the history of Burnet and see an architectural wonder. This courthouse is beautiful!
