Mesa Cafe & Bar: Menu & Drinks

With breakfast and lunch menus packed with good eats, listing all the standouts at Mesa Cafe & Bar is impossible. But we'll post some unique offerings so you can get a feel of the selections.

When in need of a hearty breakfast before heading to 1000 Steps Beach, you can't go wrong with any of the American Breakfasts. A tasty choice in this category is the Italian sausage with eggs cooked to your liking. This meal comes with either cottage fries, hash browns, or fresh fruit. Furthermore, you can select your choice of toast, blueberry muffin, cornbread, or biscuits.

Or, start your day with Mexican spices with the Chilaquiles Verdes! This delicious breakfast consists of tortilla chips smothered in homemade pork Chile Verde. It is then topped with two eggs, any style, guacamole, sour cream, feta cheese, and green onions.

Notable Favorites

Come lunchtime, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better burger in the Central Coast area. The burgers at Mesa Cafe & Bar are ⅓ pound fresh ground beef with mayonnaise, onion, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. The delicious burgers come with French fries. The Blue Burger receives plenty of praise. It is prepared with melted blue cheese and crispy bacon, which creates rich flavors and textures.

Similarly, another cafe favorite is the Pot Roast. This classic comfort meal showcases tri-tips slow-roasted with red wine carrots, onions, and celery. The roast comes with house-made mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. This makes for an unforgettable comforting meal.

When craving an adult beverage, the full bar has something for everyone. The Chocolate Martini could easily be confused as a dessert, with Three Olives chocolate-flavored vodka and Godiva white and dark chocolate liqueurs. This is chilled and served in a chocolate-rimmed glass. Aside from cocktails, they have a decent beer and wine list, along with top-shelf spirits.

Visiting Mesa Cafe & Bar will enhance any Santa Barbara getaway. Whether eating an early breakfast before hitting the beach or having drinks with friends, every bite and sip makes for a memorable dining experience.
