Meet the Jacksonville Beaches Vacation Rental Family!
The Casago Jacksonville Beaches franchise is an inviting family affair. Lance and Bonnie Parker have two grown children, a son in Orlando and a daughter in Vermont, and are eager to put their skills and attention into growing their vacation rental business. We caught up with Lance and Bonnie recently to learn more about their background, and how they leaped into the vacation rental industry.
Casago: What was your background before deciding to get into the vacation rental industry?
Lance served 35 years in the US Navy, as both an active duty service member and civilian technical representative. Bonnie worked in the healthcare field where she helped senior citizens find safe and affordable senior living options. In addition, Bonnie’s background included working as a travel agent, both independently and as part of Expedia when they were first starting out.
Casago: Why did you decide to get into the vacation rental industry?
We have always been interested in the real estate industry, and taken classes to get a real estate license but never actually got into the industry. We have owned rental properties in the past, which is why we are as meticulous about the properties as we are about the overall guest experience.
Casago: Why did you decide to join forces with Casago?
Casago seemed to be the only company that was in this business for the right reasons. And franchise owners all spoke so highly of their business model. The support structure seems better, and I plan to rely on this resource A LOT!
Casago: What else would you like to share regarding your involvement with the community of Jacksonville Beaches?
Helping seniors and their families is still an important part of our commitment to the greater community. As we develop our businesses, I’m in the process of joining BNI as well as the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.
