About

Set on Mexico's Pacific Coast is this charming, small fishing town of Sayulita. This lesser-known gem is considered a "surfer's paradise," attracting surfers from near or far.  Just a short drive or bus ride from Puerto Vallarta, this is a day trip you won't regret making!

If we could only describe Sayulita in three words, they would be: Charming, Lush, and Colorful. This city will steal your heart with its laid-back vibe and friendly locals. Though there is plenty to do if that's what you're looking for, many people come here to experience relaxation like never before. Additionally, it's also considered to be one of the safest places you can visit in the state of Nayarit.

Sayulita has only recently become a more well-known destination. Since it's still somewhat of a "hidden gem," this area is a lot more affordable than nearby Puerto Vallarta. It's also less crowded. If you're looking for a tropical vacation filled with adventure, but more relaxing than other places such as Cancun or Vallarta, Sayulita is worth considering. It's also the perfect day trip for a quick escape from the hustle & bustle of Puerto Vallarta.

Due to its proximity to Puerto Vallarta, it's also very easy to get to. The drive is around 45 minutes to an hour. Whether it's a day trip, a 2-3 day stay, or your final destination on your vacation, Sayulita is just a short drive away from the Puerto Vallarta Airport.
