La Paz, BCS – Casago Vacation Rentals La Paz is proud to have been a sponsor of the 2025 Dames Who Play Games Invitational Golf Tournament. The 2-day tournament took place at the Paraiso del Mar Golf Club on Feb. 15th & 16th, 2025. The annual event seeks to provide women golfers an opportunity to play on a level playing field.
Relishing in the magnificent weather that characterizes La Paz at that time of year, golfers took part in varied formats over the two-days. This offered all of the eager golfers numerous opportunities to shine.
On Day 1, golfers hit the front 9 for 2-Person Best Ball while the back 9 featured an Alternate Shot format. On Day 2, the front nine was for 2-Person Scramble while the back 9 rounded out with Individual Stroke Play. The multiple formats of play enriched overall camaraderie at the tournament, which was open to women with a handicap of 40 or below.
Capping off the golf weekend, tournament participants took part in a warm welcome reception as well as the awards banquet with their spouses. At the awards banquet, a Paraiso del Mar community owner presented a fun video shot during the first day of the event. This included funny skits and antics all in the spirit of golf.
Jackie Meyer, one of the organizers of the 3rd Annual Dames Who Play Games Inivitational Golf Tournament, reported 6 months of planning went into this year’s event. This included 8 chairs leading committees to ensure the event’s success.
Meyer detailed 36 women golfers participated in the 2025 edition of the Dames who Play Games Invitational. Moreover, this is one of the major highlights of the year for the Paraiso del Mar community. Along with the women golfers, several spouses volunteer as marshals and scorekeepers.
Casago & Community
Ever since Casago opened offices in La Paz nearly a decade ago, it has been an ardent supporter of activities within the Paraiso del Mar community. Being a sponsor of this year’s Dames Who Play Games Golf Invitational highlights how Casago is dedicated to fostering local relationships.
Hilda Duran, Director of Casago La Paz enthusiastically remarked, “We’re pleased to have helped sponsor this important tournament, once again strengthening our commitment to the larger community we call home.”
Duran added, “Our local efforts include taking part in several Paraiso del Mar festivities such as the Golf Cart Parade and 4th of July celebrations, but also adding activities including our annual Bocce Ball tournament.”
