Caroline’s is the best place on the East side of the island to enjoy breakfast or brunch! Their feminine, tropical aesthetic sets the tone for the bubbly service and artful menu items.

Our Experience at Caroline's Breakfast

Caroline’s is found at the heart of the East end, near Strand St. in Christiansted. Just steps away from the Christiansted Harbor, this is a great place to catch the breeze while you start your day with a delicious meal. Their beautifully themed restaurant is French-inspired with a mix of tropical accents. Inside, the bright pink and green wallpaper is filled with tropical leaves. Gold decor, candles, and bohemian lighting bring the restaurant to life. Relaxing, acoustic and indie-style covers of popular songs played in the background. Everything about this breakfast and brunch spot is Instagram-worthy!

Service at Caroline's

The service here was so friendly and we loved the vibe! Yadirah was our server who was patient and accommodated our requests with a smile. Additionally, another server named Cydmarie was lovely to talk to. Food comes out quickly, even when the restaurant is a little busy. Further, the employees wear a bright, tropical button up that helps to truly make you feel like you're on a tropical vacation!

Caroline's Menu

The restaurant is French-inspired which becomes clear after a scan of their menu which includes items such as beignets and plenty of espresso options. They serve breakfast all day and lunch from 11AM-2PM.

Fruit Plate

If you're looking for a light breakfast, we recommend their fruit plate. It begins with a layer of fruit yogurt, then various seasonal fruits are piled on. Our fruit plate had cantaloupe, honeydew, orange slices, blueberries, pineapple, and more. On top, they sprinkle mint shreds and rosemary petals for an herbal touch. Plus, a small drizzle of honey. It was a refreshing dish and also beautifully-plated.

Espresso & Beverages

Famous for their espresso and cafe beverages, there is plenty to choose from. We recommend the drip coffee, cappuccino, and latte. When we visited, there was a Salted Caramel Cappuccino that was incredible, but it was a special. So, make sure to check what their daily specials are. They even have mimosas, Bloody Marias, and other popular daytime cocktails. In addition, there is a small wine menu.

Pancakes, Waffles, & French Toast

To no surprise, all your favorite breakfast foods are available here. They offer pancakes, waffles, and french toast made various ways. Choose from traditional, chocolate chip, blueberry, bananas foster, & chicken'n waffles. Our personal favorites are the blueberry pancakes and bananas foster french toast - so good!

Lunch Handhelds

Breakfast is Caroline's specialty, so they don't have many lunch items on the menu. They have a selection of handhelds and salad, but also serve their breakfast items all day. On the lunch menu, we recommend their signature French Dip Sandwich, Turkey Club Sandwich, and the Traditional Cobb Salad.

Beignets

These beignets are the perfect way to start your day and end your meal. Crispy, light, and perfectly joined by a delicious caramel sauce. They come out fresh and warm, straight from the fryer. Unlike other beignets you may have tried, these are very lightly dusted with powdered sugar.
