About

A bar with bamboo walls and palm tree ceilings in the middle of the Malecon, Boo Bar is the perfect place to escape reality for a little while. Boo Bar combines a sports bar with a beach bar to provide a unique ambience that can only be accomplished in Rocky Point. Football team jerseys and flags dangle from the ceiling while views of the ocean and the sound of waves crashing against the rocks welcome you. To complete the beachy mood, the swinging seats at the bar let you know everything you need to know about this must-see spot in Rocky Point.

The ambiance is very relaxing and the servers are outstanding; only welcoming, charming, and charismatic people work here. The live music draws the crowds. Weekends find the tables busy, bartenders hopping, and everyone having a great time! Additionally, Boo Bar is one of the businesses that stay open late - til 11 PM or midnight every day.

El Deportado

We had the pleasure of trying their new addition to the drinks menu called: El Deportado, which means deported in english. Bartenders at BooBar came up with that name as a tribute to the many people in Penasco who have been deported and now work in restaurants and bars. The controversial beverage features orange, pineapple, blueberry cointreau, and vodka. It was a delicious drink that will keep you coming back for more!

Must Try Menu Items

The Boo Burger

A famous Item among locals for their flavor and richness, whether it's the 230 gr with everything or the huge 460 gr, you won't want to stop enjoying this classic favorite of all times, the secret to its success lies in its simple ingredients: beef, cheese, and onions. These three ingredients are combined to create a delicious burger that is sure to satisfy any appetite, don't forget the bacon!

Boo-rito

Two tortillas of pure tastiness, beans, grilled or ground beef, topped with salsa, cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, olives and guacamole, a hit!

Tacos

What better way to celebrate Mexico than enjoying a couple of carne asada or ground beef tacos with beans and guacamole or maybe you feel more like honoring Rocky Point and order some fish or shrimp tacos accompanied by rice and beans.

Chili Fries

There's nothing quite like a plate of hot, crispy chili fries coated in cheese and ground beef with chili pepper-based sauce. They can be either mild or spicy.

Fried Fish

This is another dish that everyone who tries it falls in love with, breaded fish fried to perfection, and it comes with a variety of dipping sauces and french fries. Trust us, this is one dish you don't want to miss!

You can't beat the view when sitting at the long table at the open window overlooking the water, especially when the sun is going down, so come to meet the boo bar where the music meets the sea.
