Cool Things To Do

While visiting this cute little museum, you can explore exhibits on the town's history, learn about local sea life, and see artifacts from shipwrecks found on the nearby ocean floor. 

Not only is this museum filled with historical stories of actual life events and incredible things to see, but kids are also bound to love their fun programs like scavenger hunts, live animal encounters, and crafts. 

And don’t forget to stop in the gift shop at the end of your visit, where you will see unique finds, like vintage postcards and reproduction historical photographs.

Getting There

Located at the extreme end of the famous Ocean City Boardwalk, the Ocean City Life-Saving Museum overlooks the Inlet and Assateague Island, so getting there can be tricky. 

We recommend plugging in the address to your favorite map app and following along. 

And to make sure you’re headed in the right direction, keep an eye out for Trimper’s Amusement Park—the museum is the tall clapboarded building on the left as you enter the Hugh Cropper Parking Lot.
