About
In the early 2000s, Ryan and April Estel established OG Cafe as a family business that served home-style meals and quality roasted coffee.
Ryan and April met in California, but on a visit to Utah, they fell in love with the region and each other. With Ryan's culinary creativity and background, they began to plan and dream of opening a family restaurant.
Originally known as the Old Goat Cafe and named after Clover the goat, it has been edited down to the initials OG. Its central location makes it the perfect pick for breakfast before riding the Heber Valley Railroad or dinner after a snowmobile tour with Uinta Recreation.
In its mission to deliver exceptional dining experiences, the eatery blends tradition with innovation. It offers breakfast fare and a wide selection of lunch options. Their coffee is popular, and java fans can choose a latte, Americano, and many more. Tea lovers will enjoy the flavors available, too.
The cafe is committed to using locally sourced ingredients and promoting sustainable dining practices. It works with local farmers to ensure the menu includes fresh, seasonally inspired meals.
OG Cafe is more than a restaurant; it celebrates Heber City's spirit and is a testament to its welcoming ambiance. It's the place for handcrafted coffee, grub, and sweets.
Vibe
The cafe's exterior stands out with its minimalist design and rustic appeal. The interior balances design and functionality with clean lines, warm wood tones, and unique local artwork on the walls.
The atmosphere is comforting and sophisticated, where one can surf the web using free Wi-Fi or gather with friends for brunch.
Memorabilia representing first responders are throughout the interior, along with emergency vehicle lights.
The seating is varied, with intimate tables for two, larger communal tables, and even a few cozy nooks perfect for those looking for a quiet space to work or read.
The soft hum of casual conversation and the faint aroma of freshly brewed coffee create a relaxing ambiance. OG Cafe is a community hub where locals gather, share ideas, and make memories.
OG Cafe: Menu & Drinks
\A breakfast standout is their Chupacabra (Breakfast Burrito). This hearty meal begins with your choice of smoked chuck roast, bacon, or sausage. Next, green chilis caramelized onions, shredded cheddar cheese, and crispy potatoes round out the burrito. Toss in the homemade salsa and garlic tortilla, and you're in for a delicious breakfast!
You can't beat their well-known burgers for lunch or dinner! These specialties feature ½ pounds of local beef pressed into two patties and come with house-made garlic chips.
One standout is the Pancho Villa, which features two patties, applewood-smoked bacon, guacamole, OG mayo, lettuce, tomato, and cheddar cheese. This juicy burger is served on a stone-ground brioche bun with jalapeno fries. It will satisfy your hunger after a day on the slopes at Sundance Ski Resort.
When it's dessert time, you'll find plenty of homemade wonders. Treats like freshly made scones and muffins from Hungry Bunny Bakery will satisfy any sweet tooth.
While it doesn't serve alcoholic beverages, it offers various sodas, infused water, lemonade, coffee, tea, and blended drinks. It also offers smoothies and boba teas.
With other options like salads, crepes, subs, and breakfast skillets, OG Cafe offers a meal suitable for everyone in your group.
