Perched near the shoreline of Seaside Beach is an eatery serving internationally-inspired and American comfort food. Welcome to the Osprey Cafe!

Chef Joshua Bokish opened the Osprey Cafe in 2014 and combines his experience working at various Portland eateries with his passion for fresh and inventive cuisine. 

After marrying Portland native Jazzmin, the couple returned to Josh's childhood roots: Seaside Beach. The dynamic duo combined their love for international travel, flavors, and adventures to create a breakfast and lunch menu that dances with diverse choices that make the palate soar on the wing. 

Chef Josh uses his recipes and prepares everything from scratch. The cuisine showcases his culinary creativity on American classics and international fare. 

At the Osprey Cafe, you'll discover excellence in the details, like Columbia River Coffee Roaster's brewed coffee and espresso. Chef Josh's baking finesse is another sign of excellence, with house-baked pastries and desserts featuring locally sourced ingredients.

Osprey Cafe: Menu & Drinks

The breakfast and lunch menus at Osprey Cafe offer such a wide selection of offerings that there's something for even the pickiest eater. 

A creative seafood breakfast entree is the Hangtown Fry, which features bacon and scramble on home fries topped with pan-fried local (always fresh!) oysters. 

For something savory, order the Eggs Benedict. This timeless classic showcases smoked ham and poached egg atop an English muffin. Add Chef Josh's homemade hollandaise sauce, and your taste buds will dance for joy. The eggs benedict come with homefries, fresh fruit, or seasonal vegetables.

Other breakfast choices are pancakes, French toast, and Latin-inspired classics like a breakfast burrito and chilaquiles.     

Breakfast is served all day, but the lunch menu is worth exploring, too. 

A standout sandwich is the turkey and chimichurri, a fusion of American and Latin-American comfort foods. The sandwich features house-smoked turkey and chimichurri sauce on grilled whole wheat bread with Havarti cheese and sliced tomatoes. All sandwiches come with a pickle spear and chips, but you may substitute a cup of soup for a nominal charge. 

Don't assume cocktails are off the menu because the Osprey Cafe only serves breakfast and lunch. A highlight is the renowned bacon bloody mary. This classic cocktail is revamped with bacon-infused vodka and a strip of crispy bacon, making for a tasty libation.
