About

The Parlor at Mack's Inn is located in front of Marriott SpringHill Suites, and it is the perfect place for some fantastic pizza.

I was visiting the area and wanted a good meal but didn't want to get cooped up inside. I found this location to be perfect. Not only did it have some great pizza, but it also has ice cream—I ended up coming back to it later in the day to try that out too.

The professionals working here are really that—pros. Since everything they make is by hand, you know each and every item is made with love. And it shows!

I was able to chat with the staff, and they were all very welcoming and even a bit humorous. The fact that I was from out of town didn't make them treat me any differently or like any other tourist.

Since this was the first time I visited, I asked a lot of questions, and I found that everyone was really responsive and willing to offer insight. I even tried out their selections of food when I was able to make a decision from the impressive menu.

Vibe

The Parlor at Mack's Inn has a very friendly feel to it.

The staff is young, and the conversations are interesting. I found that the entire team was really personable, and everyone seemed to be working well together.

For me, that translated into a really positive experience for the time I was there. People were laughing and having fun with each other. It's bright and quite modern, too.

The Parlor at Mack's Inn: Menu & Drinks

There is no doubt that The Parlor at Mack's Inn has a lot of great things to offer. I found that the pizzas are anything but boring. When I first visited, I wasn't really sure which option to choose because there were just so many on the menu. Here is what I ended up selecting and my experience.

I tried the Huckleberry Chicken pizza. This piece was incredible. It has a white sauce and a good portion of grilled chicken on it. It is then topped with spinach, pickled onions that offer a nice bite of flavor, and pickled huckleberries. It also had cheese on top of all of that. It was the most unique option I have had recently.

The Parlor portion also offers a fantastic coffee bar. They have all of the traditional coffee options on the menu. I enjoyed a nice, crisp Italian Soda with my meal. I did notice that they have a sugar-free vanilla on the menu as well.

Another important decision from the menu is the dessert.

The Bluebird Brownie was my choice. This is an excellent choice, with a fudge brownie swirled with a cheesecake. On top of that, there is this mound of amazing fluffy toasted marshmallows and silk chocolate cream cheese frosting. It was pretty intense in flavor, and I have to say it was very rich.

My significant other enjoyed the lemon bar, which had a nice soft shortbread crust.

Local Tips

  • They are wheelchair accessible. This was something someone in my party needed.
  • Everything is made while you wait after you order it. It doesn't take long, but there is no rushing about it.
  • I also have a picky eater, and the kid's cheese pizza hit the spot. They are more than willing to accommodate your needs in my experience.
  • Since they only make a certain amount of fresh pizza dough each morning, so I recommend checking ahead that they have the pizza you want.
