Chef Kohel Kurasawa is a sushi master from Japan with over 20 years of experience. Chef was inspired by his love for traditional Japanese cuisine and Florida's fresh, local ingredients. He opened Sushi Goma, also known as Goma Japanese Restaurant, in 2009. 

He has created a menu that combines the best of both worlds, offering traditional Japanese sushi with a modern Florida twist. 

Fusing flavors and ingredients has resulted in a unique dining experience quickly gaining a devoted following. Word of mouth has spread quickly, and it's not uncommon to see a line outside the restaurant, even on weekdays.

Chef Kohel Kurasawa has carefully curated a selection of traditional Japanese sushi and sashimi, as well as some unique dishes that showcase the flavors of Florida. 

One of his more popular dishes is the "Treasure Coast Roll," which features fresh, local seafood, avocado, and a hint of citrus. 

"Goma Special Roll" is another favorite that combines tuna, salmon, and yellowtail with a spicy mayo sauce. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the presentation is beautiful. 

The drink menu is equally impressive, with specialty cocktails, sake, and Japanese beer. The "Goma Martini" is a favorite among regulars, featuring vodka, sake, and a splash of lychee juice. 

Another popular choice is the "Sake Mojito," a refreshing blend of sake, mint, and lime.
