About

4 Seasons Recreational Outfitters is the must-stop location for all of the gear you need to rent or buy to explore the area. It's only every day of the year and has a staff willing to tell you everything about the region. We loved learning so much from our visit here.

Getting There

4 Seasons Recreational Outfitters is located at #2 Country Mall, 57195 Beaver Drive D in Sunriver. It's not too hard to get to. You can follow Abbot Drive until you get to Beaver Drive, and it will be on the right. There are a number of nearby locations, including Café Sintra Sunriver and Village Bar & Grill across the street. It's located on the first floor of the Village at Sunriver.

The location is a few minutes from Mt. Bachelor and about 30 miles from the trails. You're only a few minutes from the single-track biking trails in the area, too.

Rental Services

One of the best things about 4 Seasons Recreational Outfitters isn't the clothes or the cool gear. It is all of the equipment you can rent to get out there and enjoy the experience of the wilderness. Chances are good any type of equipment you need to rent to explore the forest and terrain in this area is going to be readily available to you here. I highly encourage you to ask about anything you need before you find yourself purchasing it.

Here's what I experienced while visiting the 4 Seasons Recreational Outfitters based on the information available at the location.

Summer rentals

During the summer months, the biggest thing they have to rent is bikes and lots of them. You can rent them for one to six days (or even more after that if you like). This includes both kids and adult bikes. The costs are very much dependent on what you rent. For example, a trail-a-bike/ Burley is $8 for the hour or $23 for the day. A demo full suspension e-bike is $15 for the hour and $65 for the day. A carbon full suspension bike will cost you $20 an hour or $80 for the day. It's less expensive to rent the bikes for a longer period. For example, the carbon full suspension bike is $150 for two days or $385 for six days.

Also, you can rent helmets, locks, and tennis rackets from 4 Seasons Recreational Outfitters during the spring and summer months. If you need a bike – for trails, mountain biking, or anything else, stop here first to check out what's available.

Winter rentals

During the winter months, you have a lot of ski related rental options. That includes options for both downhill ski rentals and cross country rentals. The best way to do this is to rent the package, which gives you everything you need at one time. Like with other options, you can rent for one day or up to five days. There are options for adult packages starting at $35 for a single day, with a junior package starting at $25 for the full day. You can rent just skis or just boots as well.

Cross country rentals are done by rentals for adults or kids. You can rent them for 3 hours at $14 for the adults and $10 for kids or a full day at $22 and $18, respectively.

Also, during the winter months, you can rent what you need for snowboarding. That includes packages that give you all you need for $35 for a day. You can rent just the board for $25 per day or the boots only for $12 a day. Those 12 and under qualify for the junior rate of $25 per day.

Also, keep in mind that they offer services for all of their equipment. They will get your gear back to working condition and in the best condition possible before you head outdoors.

Retail Store

If you are looking for a simple way to get what you need before you head outdoors in the area, stop in the retail store. There are often deals on bikes, skis, and other options if you want to purchase them to take with you. If not, just rent them. You can also find clothing for the winter months and most of the gear you need overall for getting around, including for repairs.

What's Nearby

If you are looking for a few other things to do with your time in this area, there's plenty to explore. That includes Sunriver Brewing Co. and the Sunriver Pub or Sunriver Sports nearby. The Village of Sunriver is packed with shops to explore as well. It's only a short drive to the John Gray Amphitheater, the Sunriver Resort, and Great Hall at Sunriver Resort. The whole area is surrounded by the Deschutes National Forest, where you will find the Newberry National Volcanic Monument, a rock quarry, the Woodlands Golf Course, and Harper Bridge, to name a few of the area's attractions.
