Hola! Sunriver

About

Margaritas, Peruvian food, and Mexican food are the three pillars of Hola! Sunriver which make it the hottest spot in town. Voted 4 years running for the best margaritas in Sunriver, this is definitely the place you want to go to have a good time surrounded by good people and good food!

Getting There & Environment

To get to Hola! Sunriver, you should start heading towards the Sunriver Resort. Maps will take you directly to the restaurant which is right behind a security booth. Just let the attendant know you are going to the restaurant and they will give you an index card type of ticket to take into the restaurant. Make sure you get this stamped on your way out so you don’t have to pay a fee!

The environment is very vibrant and welcoming. There are plenty of tables inside against large windows that wrap around the restaurant. But, we opted to sit outside since it was such a beautiful day! There are about 8 tables outside - some high-top, some low. No matter where you choose to sit here, you will have a peaceful view of the Deschutes river as you dine. In addition, the service was fantastic! Our server Yazmin was helpful, friendly, and accommodating - providing us with recommendations and chatting about the area.

What’s Good on the Menu?

You truly can’t go wrong no matter what you order here! We sat near two groups of people who both loved the food so much, we overheard them expressing their happiness with the server! One of the groups even asked when they closed because they wanted to bring back their family later for dinner. Word of mouth is exactly how Hola! Sunriver continues to dominate the foodie scene here in Sunriver.

As soon as you sit down, your hostess brings water and complimentary salsa & chips to start your meal. The green salsa is the best dip I’ve ever had! It’s like a thick, creamy salsa verde combined with chimichurri. Honestly, it was addictive! I wanted to stop eating it with the chips and I truly couldn’t because it was so good.

Peruvian Food

What truly sets Hola apart is their unique fusion of Peruvian food. They have a Peru-specific entree category on the menu, but a lot of their food has a little bit of Peruvian flavor in it.

Margaritas & Bar

If you're looking for a place for a great margarita - look no further! Hola has incredible drinks and a full bar so no matter what type of beverage you're in the mood for, they will surely have something to quench your thirst. My personal favorite was their house margarita - it was perfectly balanced.

Other Locations

Hola! is a franchise, but they are local so there are a few locations in the area. Each one is named Hola with the city after it so it makes it pretty easy to distinguish on maps. Here are some of their other locations. You will want to keep this list handy, trust me. It's almost guaranteed that you'll want to return to this incredible restaurant!
