About

For over twenty years, Tre Lune has served Italian cuisine in the Santa Barbara region. The menu is Mediterranean-inspired, and it features pasta and pizza classics, fresh seafood, and tender steaks.

The restaurant's name is an Italian phrase for "three moons," a nod to Italy's magical essence. As you step inside, you're not just entering a restaurant; you're entering a world where flavors are as vibrant as the Santa Barbara sun.

The dining room is dotted with tables with white lines, black-and-white photos, and tasteful Italian memorabilia. You'll feel like you're dining in Little Italy in NY—or better yet, somewhere in the hills of Italy!

Al fresco dining on the front terrace is appealing, with umbrellas to ward off the sun at lunch and patio lights to create an enchanting evening environment.

Tre Lune remains true to its dedication in using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. The result is tasty fare that is soul-satisfying and delicious.

Its central location makes it perfect for visiting before or after a local destination. Since they also serve breakfast, you could grab a quick meal before heading to the Santa Barbara Zoo for the day.

Tre Lune is suitable for romantic dinners and meals with friends and families on vacation. Its welcoming vibe and fresh, tasty fare provide a remarkable dining experience on the Central Coast.

Vibe

Tre Lune's exterior reflects Santa Barbara's architectural style with a terracotta tiled roof and off-white walls. It is reminiscent of what you'd expect to find along the Mediterranean coast, which adds to the allure of visiting.

The quaint front patio offers alfresco dining under the California sun, while patio lights emit a soft glow at dusk. No matter what time of day you dine outside, the mood is magical.

The beautifully designed interior is cozy, resembling a classic Italian restaurant. The warm, earthy tones and tasteful decor create a welcoming, homey atmosphere.

Each table is carefully set, providing a touch of refinement without compromising comfort. While white linens adorn the tables and add a touch of elegance, the atmosphere is laid-back. The dishes bear the restaurant's name, which further adds to the sophistication. All of these make the perfect combination for a romantic evening or a casual meal after visiting the Old Mission Santa Barbara

Tre Lune: Menu & Drinks

Since Tre Lune offers a breakfast and lunch/dinner menu, we will highlight standouts from each to give you an idea of what to expect.

An appealing aspect of the breakfast menu is the variety and choices.

The Banana Foster's French Toast will appeal to sweet tooths. The French toast is grilled to a golden brown and topped with sliced bananas in brown sugar and rum flambé. As if that's not sweet enough, the meal comes with pure maple syrup. A creative spin on a breakfast classic is the Italian Benedict, which features prosciutto on rye, two poached eggs, and house-made hollandaise sauce.

When it's time for lunch or dinner, Tre Lune's menu once again appeals to various palates and budgets. An antipasti appetizer that will appeal to vegetarians is the Margo, which features grilled asparagus, zucchini, broccoli, eggplant, and bell peppers topped with melted mozzarella and tomato sauce.

The pizzas at Tre Lune are another hit. With the option to have a gluten-free crust, the combinations are limitless. When craving a little heat with your pie, consider the Diavola. This pizza features tomato sauce, mozzarella, spicy sausage, red onions, and spicy chili peppers.

Pasta lovers will want to try the Lasagna Maria! This Italian staple features baked pasta with layers of beef, pork, ragu, ricotta, and parmesan cheese. It's the perfect finish to a day exploring the Channel Islands with a charter from Santa Barbara Landing. The plentiful steak and seafood entrees are proof there is something for everyone at Tre Lune. When you're ready for a drink, the full bar can craft specialty cocktails or peruse the impressive wine list to pair with your meal.

For a taste and feel of dining in Italy, add Tre Lune to your Santa Barbara getaway.
