Red Rock Brewery is an exceptional location to grab a drink or spend some time with friends and family. The Park City location offers a taproom. This is the ideal place to watch the big game while enjoying the company’s original craft beer. In addition to this, there is a curated menu that includes a range of dishes such as wood-fired pizza, burgers, steaks, pasta, and seafood. They also offer a collection of small bites and a full dessert menu. Red Rock Brewery is also noted for its complete liquor and wine menus, which feature local and well-recognized products.
What We Learned About Red Rock Brewery On Our Visit
During our visit, we learned Rock Brewery first opened in March of 1994 at its Downtown Salt Lake City location. The company set out to create high-quality craft beer and, from the beginning, sought after unique flavor profiles and interesting combinations to create truly one-of-a-kind products. They also launched a full menu designed to tempt the tastebuds of all those who visited.
While it started as a small location, Red Rock Brewery has grown to get national attention over the years. That is due to its award-winning lineup of craft beers. The company’s lineup has received over 100 awards both on the regional and national levels.
In addition to this, the company’s Salt Lake City restaurant was named “Brewpub of the Year” by Brewpub Magazine. Later, The Great American Beer Festival named it the “Large Brewpub of the Year.”
Over the years, the location has grown to become more of a family-oriented destination offering a wide range of food options and a menu that continues to grow with the times. The original location has long been a staple in the downtown area. Because of that popularity, the restaurant expanded to offer new locations in Kimball Junction near Park City and Fashion Place Mall in Murray. Both locations have seen a lot of success thanks to the location’s dedication o providing superior products and excellent service.
In 2011, Red Rock Brewery further expanded to allow it to brew a larger amount of its products as the company’s restaurant growth continued to grow. It is now possible to purchase the company’s beer at various local pubs as well as various retail locations.
Environment & Location
Red Rock Brewery is located in Park City Junction. This is an area that is just a bit off the busy main streets of Park City, in an area where there are numerous small shops and stories along with the Redstone Cinema. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 12 pm to 9 pm and Friday and Saturday from 12 pm to 10 pm. They offer both dine-in and to-go orders.
Craft Beers
The craft beers at Red Rock Brewery are extensive, and they continue to offer new products from time to time. Some examples of their products include:
- Elephino, a Double IPA at 8%
- Nanu Nanu, a Double IPA at 8.1%
- Marvella, a Belgian Style Triple at 11%
- Frohlich Pils, a German Style Pilsner at 5.5%
- Otto, an Imperial Pilsner at 7.2%
What’s Good at Red Rock Brewery
The Park City menu is full of fantastic food options with something for everyone. Take a look at some of the options on the menu.
Wood Fired Pizza
There are dozens of options here, including their Thai Chicken, which includes a Thai peanut sauce, chicken, red bell peppers, sriracha, red onion, julienne carrot, mozzarella, and cilantro. They also have a wild mushroom pizza and an arugula and prosciutto pizza.
Alaskan Halibut Fish & Chips
This dish features Red Rock Beer battered halibut along with coleslaw, tartar, and a choice of a side. Those sides include fries, fresh carrot chips, horseradish mashed potatoes, and others.
Wild Salmon
This dish features wild salmon that has a champagne Dijon glaze to it. It is served with seasonal vegetables.
Pasta
For those who are looking for a hearty pasta dish, Red Rock Brewery offers options such as Sweet Potato Cannelloni, a vegetarian dish that is made with ricotta, spinach, Parmesan cream sauce, and garlic.
Another option is the Beef Lasagna made with sweet fennel pork, beef, and a combination of mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, and mascarpone cheeses. There’s also fresh basil in it. The start of the dish is the San Marzano tomato sauce that is made in-house each day.
Desserts
For dessert, consider the carrot cake, peach cobbler, warm bread pudding, and the oatmeal stout chocolate brownie. They also offer root beer floats.
