Lardos Grill & Saloon: Menu & Drinks

The atmosphere at this McCall, Idaho gem is nothing short of fantastic, but there's so much more to this delightful spot than just its inviting ambiance—think mouthwatering food that's sure to make your taste buds dance.

When I first arrived, famished from a day of travel, I eagerly dove into an appetizer of Chili Skins.

Imagine a generous serving of perfectly cooked potato wedges, smothered in a delicious, homemade smokey chili, and topped with an indulgent layer of cheese. Opt for the fully loaded version complete with onions and sour cream—you won't regret it. For those with alternative tastes, the option to swap out the chili for a tempting mushroom sauce is also available.

For my main course, I couldn't resist trying the Lardo Chicken.

This enticing dish consists of a sizable portion of tender chicken breasts, expertly charbroiled alongside ham and Swiss cheese. The unique smoking process infuses the dish with a harmony of flavors—trust me, you've never tried anything quite like this. The succulent, juicy chicken is further elevated by an impeccably crafted hollandaise sauce—freshly made and perfectly blended.

Of course, an enjoyable meal isn't complete without thoughtful accompaniments.

Your entree is served with your choice of garlic bread and soup or salad—I opted for a refreshing salad as a healthy touch. Don't forget to customize your plate with your preferred side; in my case, the irresistible buffalo fries.

And to enhance your meal even further, a well-crafted drink is essential. My choice of a Patron Margarita proved to be an excellent one, providing a vibrant kick that paired perfectly with the flavorsome food.

After a satisfying meal and plenty of leisurely conversation, my sweet tooth got the better of me, and I indulged in the delectable Peanut Butter Cheesecake for dessert. Rich and decadent, this final course was nothing short of delightful. Though the ample portion meant I had to take half of it home, it was a challenge I was more than willing to tackle.

Overall, this incredible dining experience in McCall is one that travelers and vacationers simply cannot pass up. With its welcoming atmosphere, outstanding food, and ample portion sizes, it's truly a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable culinary journey!
