About

Imagine standing amidst a sea of vibrant purple blossoms, basking in the calming aroma of lavender, gazing at the majesty of Lookout Mountain. Welcome, my friends, to the enchanting Lookout Lavender Farm

This picture-perfect haven is not just an ordinary farm but a testament to the magic that happens when passion meets cultivation.

Lookout Lavender Farm's history is as rich and soothing as the lavender it produces. Alice and Bill Marrin are the brainchild of the farm, whose passion is to share the benefits of lavender.

Over the years, Lookout Lavender Farm has become a destination that attracts visitors to the stunning lavender fields and the picturesque serene setting.

The land it occupies has a rich history, touched by the Cherokee Indians, the Civil War, and the coal and steel industries that have shaped this part of the world.

The Marrins have fused their knowledge of lavender cultivation with a deep respect for this historic land. The result is a sanctuary where the past and present coexist in harmony.

When you walk the farm, the air is heavy with the sweet scent of lavender and brings a sense of calm and peace.

The farm offers "you-pick" opportunities online that typically begin in June. They also feature a "you-pick" blueberry patch but check or call for availability.

Visiting Lookout Lavender Farm is an experience to cherish. So come, breathe deep the historic, aromatic, and tranquil beauty of Lookout Lavender Farm.

Fun Facts & Cool Features

One remarkable feature of Lookout Lavender Farm is its innovative and eco-friendly farming practices. They use a cutting-edge, sustainable irrigation system that conserves water and guarantees every plant gets a precise amount of hydration.

Lavender isn't merely beautiful and aromatic but also a culinary delight. Check out their online products, like infused honey harvested from hives in the lavender fields.

Another cool feature is their 'Adopt a Lavender Plant' program. For those passionate about lavender and sustainable agriculture, this program provides a unique opportunity to sponsor a lavender plant. Adopters get updates on their plant's growth and receive a personalized lavender bundle during harvest season.

Be sure to visit The Lav Shack when at Lookout Lavender Farm. The quaint white building with a silver tin roof offers lavender products you can purchase. The Lav Shack is open Saturdays from 11-4 PM during the blooming season.

Last but not least is their Lavender 101 classes. Guests will have an immersive experience of cultivating lavender, from planting seeds to distilling essential oils. Check online or call for availability.
