Seabolt's Street Tacos

When one considers Southern food, classics like BBQ, fried chicken, and catfish come to mind. But some southern chefs are forging new culinary territories that shouldn't be overlooked.  

A prime example of this is Seabolt's Street Tacos and its owner, Noah Watters. Like most Southerners, he loves tacos, but there weren't many options in the area. So Noah dreamed and went to work. 

Noah began cooking and serving his food at the Mentone Market. His tacos were a hit, and he knew he had to take his vision to the next level. 

But financing a brick-and-mortar store was too expensive. So, Noah purchased an old Airstream and, with a lot of sweat equity, created a food truck that opened in 2020. 

He chose his mother's maiden name for inspiration for his company's name. 

Seabolt's Street Tacos is parked on the family-owned business Moon Lake Trading Company. Noah keeps his menu simple to focus on quality. In time, he hopes to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant. 

Seabolt's Street Tacos serves delicious handheld Mexican fare and is a testament to a young man's dream, passion, and strong work ethic.

The Airstream for Seabolt's Street Tacos glistens in the sunlight like a pearl sitting off to the side of Moon Lake Trading Company. Tantalizing aromas of grilled meat and sauteed onions and peppers fill the air. Your senses are on full alert to the deliciousness simmering nearby.

Green awnings offer shade when ordering on those hot Lookout Mountain days, and several tables with chairs are nearby for dining outdoors. 

Seabolt's Street Tacos is designed for pickup, but when you want to dine al fresco, the area is clean, relaxing, and inviting.

The menu at Seabolt's Street Tacos is limited, and tacos are the forerunner of favorites. 

Taco's come with meat like marinated and grilled steak, chicken, or shredded beef. Next, diners choose corn or flour tortillas; all tacos come with cilantro, lime, sauteed peppers, onions, and salsa. 

Additionally, Seabolt's offers salads, quesadillas, chips & salsa, spicy macaroni & cheese, and black beans. 

For a vegetarian option, Seabolt's offers black beans instead of meat. 

One exciting aspect about the menu is it changes with the seasons. When temperatures drop in the mountains, you'll look forward to sipping spicy tortilla soup served with cornbread.
