About

Tucked into a little corner of Henderson, Nevada, Il Chianti Italian transports its diners to the sweeping Italian countryside. Here, you can enjoy authentic dishes and award-winning wines. Run by celebrity Chef Rudy, the intimate setting ensures a dining experience packed with flavor!

The menu covers Italian dishes from the Alps to the Mediterranean, so you’ll find something you’ll enjoy no matter your tastes. If cheese is your thing, be sure to check out Il Chianti on Thursday and Sunday nights, also known as “Cheese Wheel Nights,” where your pasta will be tossed in the melted, gooey goodness of the restaurant’s giant cheese wheel and served piping hot to your table.

Il Chianti Italian is in masterful hands as well! Executive chef Rodolfo Janeo, Jr. has over 30 years of experience serving Italian master chefs like James Beard Award-winning Charlie Trotter, Romano Vinuti, Piero Broglia, and many others. He’s also the only Filipino chef in Las Vegas to helm an Italian-Zagat-rated restaurant in the Las Vegas and Henderson area.

And if you have a kitchen, you’re only a phone call away from having the tastes of Italy brought to your own home! Chef Rudy will work with you to create a unique and delicious menu to spruce up any dinner party, anniversary, or champagne brunch you might be hosting. He’s even available for private cooking lessons!

Vibe

Elegance without pretension would perfectly describe Il Chianti. Care and attention go into every aspect of the decor. Add the hospitable staff, and you'll feel like you're dining with family.

With only a handful of tables at Il Chianti, Rudy and everyone on staff treats each guest with undivided attention. The lights are dimmed, and each table feels like its own private getaway from the world. You needn’t look further than Il Chianti to celebrate someone or something special.

Il Chianti Italian: Menu & Drinks

Il Chianti Italian specializes in classic Italian dishes. If you love pasta, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for. The restaurant offers six different types of risotto, including pescatore, al pesto, and carbonara truffle. There is also pear and cheese tortellini, lobster ravioli, gnocchi con pesto, and more than a dozen other options.

And if you’re looking for something a bit meatier—whether from land or sea—there’s plenty to choose from. There’s a rack of lamb and a filet de salmon. There’s the New York steak smothered in Pomodoro sauce. And if that all sounds good, there’s the house pan roast, filled to the brim with sausage, salmon, calamari, shrimp, and scallops.

To wash it all down, you'll find an extensive wine list featuring Italian whites, reds, and award-winning wines. They also offer specialty drinks, such as the Il Chianti Spritz and their house-made sangria.

Even if you’ve never been to Italy, you’ll find yourself saying “spettacolari!”

Local Tips

  • As it is a smaller space, reservations are encouraged! Il Chianti doesn’t accept reservations online, but they take them over the phone, so give them a call.
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays also feature a great deal, with Il Chianti’s 3-course menu. For only $37, it’s a great way to enjoy a taste of Italy on a budget!
  • For dessert, Il Chianti has Italian classics, such as their homemade tiramisu and crème brûlée, but also spins on American favorites, like their NY cheesecake brûlée.
