About
Stroll along the pond or beach and take in the natural beauty of the Washington Oaks Garden State Park! Home to many native and non-native plant species, this is sure to be a unique and picturesque experience everyone in the family can enjoy.
This is one of the most popular attractions in Palm Coast for its famous ancient oak trees and timeless beauty. Coquina rock formations line the Atlantic Beach making this park extra instagrammable.
Some of the plant species you will find in this garden are azaleas, camellias, and bird of paradise.
Pack lunch and a blanket and set up for a beautiful picnic at the covered pavilion! Grills, tables, and bathrooms are all available for use. For picnics in parks, we always recommend bringing a fun or creative activity to do while you soak in the nature. Some ideas of activities to bring are paint supplies, cards, board games, a good book, and anything else that may call to you.
Hiking, birding, and fishing are also common activities at the park. As a birding hotspot with numerous bird species coming through, this is considered a birders paradise!
Once you visit, you won't be surprised to find out that this park is also a wedding venue. The stunning gazebo provides the perfect backdrop for a romantic and intimate ceremony! However, there are multiple locations within the park to choose from. Have your dream wedding by the beach, the rose garden, the stage area, or by the oak tree. The choice is yours!
