A banana boat is an inflatable boat made of PVC plastic or Hypalon Neoprene invented by Glenn Matthews in the late 1980s, usually made to be towed. The many sizes and styles of this boat typically seat 3 to 10 passengers in a huge central tube, with their feet resting on two side tubes that steady the boat. This construction allows you to enjoy the pleasure of moving quickly and close to the water in a way that is much easier and safer than water skiing or surfing. Throughout the ride, the motorist of the boat tries to turn the banana boat upside down when making sharp turns as a result, kids love it! Of course, all passengers must wear a life jacket for safety reasons.
