La Paz Mexico sits looking out onto the Gulf of California. This beautiful gem is the fourth largest municipality in Mexico, and offers a variety of entertainment for visitors and residents to enjoy. The best way to enjoy them is from your vacation rentals on the beach.

Hotel versus Vacation Home

Why would you book a vacation rental instead of staying in a hotel? The property management at Casago sees to it that the vacation homes are squeaky clean and well-maintained. In a hotel, you may find a lack of enthusiasm when you call to report a dripping faucet or running toilet. They may not get to the problem while you are there. Often times, the problem does not get reported to the right person. You are stuck with a clogged toilet, broken TV, or an air-conditioning unit that makes a lot of noise, but doesn’t cool the room.

The next obvious reason for choosing a vacation home or condo is the space. Hotels have limited space. The furniture is often industrial and uncomfortable. Kitchenettes are cramped and not set up for real meals. Renting a vacation home means more space and more amenities like a full kitchen, a washer and dryer to wash off beach sand, and more bedrooms.

Our Homes Away From Home

Luxurious homes on the beach in La Paz Mexico offer you so much more for your vacation dollars. Stunning ocean views, spacious modern kitchens, ample bedrooms, and private pools are just some of the amenities you will enjoy in La Paz Mexico. Condos offer all of the comforts of home with the added bonuses like Jacuzzi’s, golf courses, tennis courts, and so much more.

For instance – sit on your patio overlooking the sea at Paraiso Del Mar Resort in unit A102. The covered patio has open walls and a ceiling fan to stir the breeze from the ocean. A table and chairs provides a place to have drinks with friends. Inside the spacious condo, a white leather sofa flanks wicker chairs. The open floor plan allows you to cook in the modern kitchen while talking with guests. Lay in bed and look out the glass doors to the blue of the water. Get ready in a huge bathroom with dual sinks and a separate stand-up shower.

Do you have a large group gathering for the trip? Vacation rentals that accommodate larger groups are ready to envelope you in wide-open floor plans, professional decor, and views of the Sea of Cortez. Would a house with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and even a separate casita with another bedroom and bathroom be large enough for your gathering? Unit V279 awaits with dark maple wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. Cooking favorite meals is a breeze in the roomy kitchen. Speaking of breeze – do you smell the salty ocean air wafting in from the patio?

Where to Go, What to Do?

When you finally decide to leave the comforts of one of the rentals on the beach, there is so much to do in La Paz Mexico. Malecon is a whole street of shopping, amazing sculptures, and palm trees ringing the ocean’s edge. Stop and rest on one of the many benches overlooking the sapphire water. Grab an ice cream at one of the shops. Walk out on the wooden pier. There is never a shortage of scenery or shopping opportunities here.

Balandra Beach

Ringed by hills of rock on three sides, with only a small inlet for sea water, Balandra Beach is the perfect stop for lovers and families alike. The shallow, crystal clear water is chest-high at the deepest spot. The Mushroom Rock has been washed away by tides and time to resemble its namesake. The rock is perfect for getting those candid shots. Rent floats and SUPS by the hour. Food vendors will have fresh coconut water and snacks available. There are toilet facilities, too.

City Sights

In the city you can explore museums, art galleries, and landmarks like the La Paz Cathedral. This beautiful historic church was built in 1720. Inside, stained glass windows showcase different saints. Behind the altar, statues depict the Virgin Mary and the apostles. The high arched ceilings add dimension and beauty to the architecture.

Eat Local

The kitchens in vacation rentals are fabulous, but sometimes you just want to go out to eat instead of cooking. Don’t miss a chance for some fantastic, fresh seafood at Mariscos el Toro Guero. Grilled octopus with onions and peppers, ceviche, and shimp, are served in a laid-back atmosphere where locals eat.

Come and explore the beach homes, see the excellent property management, and indulge in the this city by the sea.
