About

Park City, from spring through fall, is rich with outdoor activities, sightseeing, dining, and historical landmarks to visit. An exhilarating and easy way to get to these destinations is with Summit Bike Share.

Here's how it works:

  1. Download the easy-to-use app and create an account to gain access to over 250 e-bikes.
  2. Using the app, unlock the bike and type the access number below the handlebars.
  3. Enjoy your safe ride!
  4. Return your bike to a designated kiosk in the Park City area.

It's that simple! In no time, you and your family can be zipping around the area on a city-style e-bike exploring Park City Main Street Historic District. Venture north of town to McPolin Barn for a picnic or to hike the nature trail. The possibilities are endless!

At this point, we must mention that your rental agreement does not include a helmet. You'll need to rent, bring, or purchase a bike helmet. While wearing a helmet is not required by law, your head will thank you should you take a spill or, worse, get hit by a car.

What makes Summit Bike Share appealing to people of all ages and abilities is that electric power makes cycling easy and fun! And operating the bike is simple. You don't have to worry about shifting gears or engaging a power button. The motor kicks in when you pedal, adding the extra boost needed when climbing hills or facing a stiff headwind.

Use Summit Bike Share for a healthy, environmentally friendly, and quick means of transportation on your vacation.

Summit Bike Share: Fun Facts & Cool Features

A cool feature is the Pedelec bike (short for Pedal Electric Bike). Riding in the rain is dangerous and not recommended, but when the tarmac is damp, the fenders help keep you from getting dirty from road spray.

Another convenient feature is the front basket. These can hold up to 45 pounds, making them ideal for carrying a meal from Vessel Kitchen for a picnic or for holding purchases made at a boutique like Tanner Trading.

Other features include a kickstand for easy parking, adjustable seat height, lights for nighttime excursions, a warning bell, and a secondary lock. Brake levers on the handlebars simplify slowing and stopping and are user-friendly.

The pricing packages will appeal to any budget and cycling needs. The Individual Pass is the most popular and suits those on short rides. The Monthly Pass is a go-to for those in the area for an extended time, while the 4-Day Pass is the best bang for the buck if riding frequently. The Season Pass is for those planning frequent rides longer than 45 minutes and up to 90 minutes. Note that all passes are for one bike per account. For pricing, jump down to our "Cost" section below.

What makes renting a bike convenient are the kiosks located throughout the area. These docking stations make picking up a bike easy since you can find the location closest to your Casago rental.
