How to get to Puerto Vallarta
Traveling to Puerto Vallarta is simple. The city has its own international airport, which means direct flights are often possible. There is a direct three-hour flight from Los Angeles to Puerto Vallarta, for example. Their airport, the Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport, is small, clean and easy to navigate. Picking up your luggage and then catching a taxi to your hotel or vacation rental is a quick, easy process.
Getting Around
The old town of Puerto Vallarta is small, so exploring it on foot is easy to do. But if you’re looking to venture out further, say to Marina Vallarta, you can opt for a taxi or select an Uber ride. If you don’t, many of the locals speak English and can help you get by.
