About

During my visit to McCall Lake, I couldn't resist the allure of the water, so I booked a slot with McCall Lake Cruises. Their impressive 62-foot vessel, quaintly named IDAHO, promised an unforgettable aquatic escapade.

With a capacity to host around 40 guests, the boat was spacious enough to accommodate my family of five and me comfortably. We opted for a 90-minute cruise, though the sunset cruise is definitely on my bucket list for next time! The journey was incredibly calming, offering a much-needed respite from our fast-paced lives.

While the main cabin offered a cozy retreat from the sun, I chose to bask in the warmth on the rooftop deck. The cruise was a family-friendly affair, providing panoramic views of the lake as we set sail at 1 PM, right on schedule.

What added to the overall experience was the onboard snack bar that served everything from popcorn to drinks at affordable prices. From sodas and water to wine and cocktails, there was a drink for every palate. I treated myself to a cold beer, which was the perfect companion to the serene surroundings.

The boat cruised at a leisurely pace, making the tour around the lake a smooth and comfortable one. The view, needless to say, was spectacular.

If you've only ever admired the lake from its shores, I highly recommend experiencing it from the heart of the waters. It's truly a whole different world out there!
