About

You've had a fun-filled day exploring North Lake Tahoe, and now you're hungry. But you're craving gourmet cuisine in a romantic yet rustic setting. Is there even a restaurant like that in the area?

The answer is a resounding "Yes!".

Soule Domain is a charming creation of chef and owner Charlie Soule. This restaurant is steeped in history, opening its doors 30 years ago in 1985. Charlie's culinary journey began earlier, and his passion for cooking became the foundation on which Soule Domain was built.

Charlie Soule learned the art of cooking from his mother at a young age. His passion evolved into a career as he took culinary classes during high school and later attended the highly regarded Culinary Institute of America.

His unyielding dedication to his craft is evident in the tantalizing gourmet dishes that Soule Domain specializes in.

The restaurant is in a historic log cabin, which adds to its rustic charm and intimate ambiance. Over the years, it has established a reputation for quality, earning numerous recognitions like being rated as one of Tahoe's best in food and atmosphere.

Every dish is meticulously prepared and gorgeously presented, and the menu changes daily, reflecting the freshest, seasonal ingredients.

The restaurant's wine selection is also commendable, offering a variety of local and international wines to complement the exquisite dishes.

Despite the restaurant's growth and recognition, Soule Domain still holds onto its roots. The Soule family's values and passion for food are reflected in the restaurant's commitment to serving gourmet meals, ensuring every visitor gets a taste of their culinary artistry.

Soule Domain is a tribute to culinary passion, a symbol of North Lake Tahoe's hospitality, and a place where memories are made.

When your Tahoe vacation calls for something special, go to Soule Domain for a meal you'll savor for a lifetime.

Vibe

Soule Domain is one of North Lake Tahoe's hidden gems.

The rugged mountain cabin is tucked into lush greenery and boasts a charming appeal. Warm light within beckons guests to enter for an extraordinary dining experience.

The atmosphere inside is equally captivating, with an eccentric yet sophisticated ambiance. Antique skis and vintage paraphernalia adorn the walls, creating a sense of nostalgia that compliments the rich wooden accents and romantic, dimmed lighting.

The dining area, though compact, exudes warmth and intimacy, fostering a space where diners are encouraged to relax and savor their experience.

The vibe at Soule Domain is undeniably unique, a perfect blend of casual and refined that compliments the quality of the food and service.

Soule Domain: Menu & Drinks

The menu at Soule Domain showcases an impressive range of dishes that are as pleasing to the palate as they are to the eye.
