About

After an adventurous day in North Lake Tahoe, top it all off with American tapas and drinks at the Bite Restaurant.

This food haven became a prime spot the minute it opened in 2007 with locals and tourists. The architects of this culinary marvel are Owner-Chefs Thomas and Brooke McCarthy.

They pooled their respective experiences and talents to create a dining experience that's uniquely Tahoe. With dedication to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, they crafted imaginative and delicious dishes that have made BIte Restaurant a must-visit in North Lake Tahoe.

In their bid to support local producers, Estee and Marrin created a restaurant that spotlighted the region's rich agricultural heritage and hardworking people.

The chefs' passion is evident in every plate served, a delightful marriage of local flavors with the duo's culinary prowess.

Carve out time to visit Bite Restaurant when craving a meal that's a cut above the rest during your time in North Lake Tahoe. You'll feast on the region's culinary roots that are as breathtaking as the landscape itself.

Bite Restaurant: Menu & Drinks

Bite Restaurant's menu is a testament to their commitment to quality and innovation. The American tapas on the menu are a fusion of traditional and contemporary, strongly emphasizing fresh, local ingredients.

Medjool Dates are a tasty combination of bacon, dates, blue cheese, and honey. It's the perfect combo of tang, saltiness, and sweetness.

Nothing says American food like a hamburger! Try any of their sliders for a creative spin on the backyard classic. The Sirloin Cheeseburger features tomato, lettuce, Jack cheese, and comeback sauce.

Another standout is the pork baby back ribs slathered in Korean BBQ glaze and the scallops in a red Thai curry sauce with house-made kimchi and grits.

Bite Restaurant also creates delicious craft cocktails. A great example is Trouble in Paradise, filled with reposado Tequila, ginger, orange curacao, benedictine, cinnamon, guava, tamarind, lime, and orange bitters.

The Northside is a simpler libation showcasing Tahoe Blue Vodka, Suze Gentian aperitif, lime, and fresh mint.

Each dish and drink at Bite Restaurant is curated with care, resulting in a menu that offers something for everyone. The restaurant's vibe and exceptional menu make it an experience not to be missed.
