My wife and son and I loved this gem in New Buffalo. The trees, the skylights, and all the fireplaces make for an incredibly cozy stay. Amazingly, and even though it doesn't feel like it, your just a short few minutes away from the downtown New Buffalo area, including the local grocery store and famous ice cream joint. Highly recommended!

The house and property were beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop to a peaceful getaway with our dog before he was scheduled for a risky surgery. We had the space we needed to enjoy what turned out being our final days with him.

We loved the hot tub, the cozy fireplace, and the quiet as we nestled among the trees to relax and recuperate from several busy months. The nearby restaurants were excellent although we enjoyed cooking breakfasts and lunches at the house - would love to come back when there is more open (and less bitter wind!) for poking around in shops and hiking.

I've stayed in a lot of short term rentals and the Tree House is without a doubt one of the best. The house had everything we needed, was 9mo old baby friendly, and was perfectly located suuuuper close to New Buffalo and everything that it has to offer. My criteria with short-term rentals is it doesn't have to be fancy but it needs to be clean and comfortable, both of which the Tree House was. I will think about sitting on the couch and enjoying the quiet serenity of the forest beyond for weeks to come. We WILL be back!
