We have stayed at the Livywood before and would stay again! Just a perfect little spot. Close to all we need, very clean and easy to work with.

Our biggest issue is safety. When we discovered the lock was not working on day two, we realized it had not been working since before our visit started. That means we walked into an unlocked home (we put the code in and turned the lock, not knowing it wasn't locked to begin with), left our items inside an unlocked home when we went for a walk, then slept in an unlocked home (even turning the lock from the inside did not lock the door from the outside). The place appeared clean at first glance, but it was not: A dirty sock on a bedroom shelf, crumbs on the table and chairs, food left in dishes in the cupboard, slippery wet leaves accumulated on the porch. Also, a large branch fell and left two sizable dents on the hood of our car. It was very windy, but the tree it appeared to fall from had several dead branches it it and could have been maintained better. There were other branches down in the yard that looked like they had been there for a while, so someone should have been aware of the issue. There was no other place to park the car. Overall, we were disappointed and spent a good part of one day waiting on service for the lock.

We loved the house and our time at the beach. But it was also centrally located to a lot of other places! We took day trips to Chicago, Notre Dame and Kalamazoo!

This is our second stay at this cottage and it is just perfect! The location to the beach, the comfort of the home and the peaceful screened in porch do not disappoint! Everything you need for a trip to the beach is already there! The kitchen is also stocked with anything you may need. Such a beautiful vaca spot!!

From check in to check out, every detail was taken care of. The property looks much better in person than even in the pictures. Everything was clean and new and up-to-date. Many thoughtful details were included, like the beach towels and the chairs and cooler for the beach. We actually didn’t use the golf cart, but it was great having it there. I highly recommend this. We had a wonderful time!
