The second apt was 1st class stay , first apt needs work

This unit was immaculate and has everything you could want in a vacation home. It has beautiful views with a generous balcony overlooking the gulf. The unit is beautifully furnished and everything was exceptionally clean and in excellent condition. I would recommend this unit to my friends and I look forward to staying there again. It truly exceeded my expectations. I would also like to say that the Vacasa staff provided excellent customer service. My family and I couldn’t be more pleased with trip.

The unit was definitely clean and everything appeared top notch. Other reviews complained about the decorations, a little much for our taste but were ok. Now the negatives, half of the toaster didn’t work and then the toaster shot up flames on 3rd day of use, carpet in spare bedroom was getting wet from somewhere so by 4th day it covered half the room, rug in master bedroom is extremely rough to walk-on with bare feet, sticky pads in master bath tube are rough on the feet since they are pealing off, the rug on balcony stayed soaking wet so you couldn’t walk on in without shoes on, tv constantly froze up in living room, ice maker was broke, master bedroom bed was like sleeping in a hole, and now the worse part. We left one evening to eat and shop, when we arrived back our door was open. We know it was shut because you have to slam it to close it. When we walked in a random key was now laying on kitchen counter and several things had been moved around. I called immediately and lady on phone didn’t have a clue to why anyone was in there, she sent a message to property manager for them to call us immediately. That was Friday and we still haven’t heard from anyone. So nothing like trying to sleep knowing that some stranger had been in there and wondering what they did while they were in there.
