Great view and balcony. Unit didn't come completely ready or stocked for a party of 6. 1 drinking glass, not enough forks. Pullout sofa not in usable condition.
Condo was big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Luckily beds and everything was clean. Just needed new curtains. It was Very moldy shower curtains and strong odor, seemed like old Mop was used. and we called and complained when we checked in but no one came. We called few times. Finally my husband had to mop the floor to get the smell out. Someone came next day to check out the smell.
The resort was nice but the elevator situation was terrible will not go here again. Our condo was clean but the carpet was gross had to wear your shoes all the time. And the master bedroom needs a new bed there is a whole were you lay on each side. We stayed in 1404 .
Front desk people were great. Beach chair rental place was great. Amenities were great. Room was clean but lacked kitchen supplies/utensils/pans/cups. Pull out sofa was less than desired but teenage kids survived. The balcony beach view was worth the trip!!! NOW, my biggest complaint as well as EVERYONE ELSE was the elevators !!! I won't be staying again simply bc of them! I waited an hr and 15 mins just to get on an elevator from the 14th floor to take the luggage cart back down to retrieve my driver's license. On average it was 15-20 min wait. We NEVER not waited.
First let me start with the condo itself was very clean (thank you!!). Needs some updating with new king mattress, couch and bathroom. What made it so bad was the elevators, what a freakin nightmare. Second was the fiasco on the beach everyday. You can’t put chairs or umbrellas past a stick on the beach line even if the tide waves come up to it and a very not nice black lady will give you grief about it and make you move them 12 inches and if you refuse she calls the HOA people out there. If you purchase chairs which we did for 3 days are a small fortune we were in trouble for a kiddie pool in front of our 2 sets of chairs for my 2 and 5 year olds to play in. My husband had words with her about it because it did not block or cause a problem for anyone. She then got all the others involved and end result was pool was fine as long as it had no canopy which it didn’t. I can’t tell you how many people she pissed off in 3 days out there. It was constant on moving personal chairs and umbrellas and it’s ONLY Tidewater that does this because of some contract with the chair guy and where you could put your own chairs and umbrellas. Everybody can’t afford $70+tax chairs everyday!! Nobody owns the beach. It is for everyone. I’m pretty sure Tidewater will lose many guests going forward after what we heard and saw. I know my family will NEVER stay there again. PCB has changed a lot. Some good and some not so good. We’ve been going every year for 25 years and I guess it’s time to move on to other beaches because it’s all become a 💵 money thing for sure and not about the people anymore.
Everything was so spectacular and beautiful Only one small detail was not perfect and that was the problem in the elevators, very few of them working, but the rest was great.
